    taste as far as dj goes, is OPINION...he mite not be your taste, or compared to how he spun at sf in the "OLD" days he mite be completely different but to say hes done with and make excuses for him?? just b/c i mite ENJOY the parties of his that i go to and i acknowledge that YEAH...it does take a while to tweak sound in a new place, get adjusted, everyone has off nites, doesnt mean im makin EXCUSES. just a lil while ago, many ppl on here said tiesto had an AWFUL nite at avalon- DJS are human PPL just b/c they fuk up sometimes, and u can ADMIT that doesnt mean ur makin EXCUSES for them. and actually, black opening nite sucked, but CLASSICS sure as hell did not, i can PERSONALLY testify to that. even if you still didnt have the BEST time, the DIFFERENCE from opening nite to classics was RIDICULOUS. regardless, spirit is MUCh better...his first nite there was better than classics at black most definitely. and being that spirit is a fairly well run club, i expect it'll get better this week :)

    why do you guys always make excuses for jp... oh it was his 1st night give it time blah blah.. hes done with......... guys face it! you all said that about Black and he was still garbage after the 1st weekend.

    very very good :) got there around 12 ish, online 15 mins or so-no prob w/ gueslist n reduced, made my nite lol. place was PACKED by 1 i'd say, good looking crowd but the hip hop room upstairs was packed w/ assholes-good thing they stayed up there lol closed it out at 7 something, n went to disco where, i must say, bouncers n security were really nice..i dropped some of my money on the way to disco, realized wen i got past the door n the guy said dont worry just gimme 20 :) i was like SHIT theyre charging 30?? its sunday am, n i KNOW its not THAT good in there..its not morillo lol. anyway, good times :)

    yea i def agree, you're never going to totally eliminate the drug element, it's always going to be around as long as ppl want it. so unless you have the will power to avoid it, or the sense to be responsible if you choose to do it, you're screwed. it comes down to the risks you choose to take- i'm not into either scene big drug/ drinking but it does make me just as sick to see a club full of drunks- sloppy, obnoxious, messy, girls get retarded , guys fight. i agree, its no fun to see fuked up crowds all the time but the cause isn't always drugs it's ppl who need to get mangled on anything PERIOD to have a good time. do what you want to do, accept the risk, and don't impose yourself on anyone else- that's how i see it.

    ...People always seem to blame the drugs , but in the END it's the person who consumes it who is responsible for their own doings .....educate yourself about the drugs you are taking and have moderation in taking them .

    ..irresponsible drug use leads to tragic consequences ..... it as simple as that .

    thats really tough for me, dont think i can...i have work fri nite, sat FOR 11 HRS then its rite to spirit for me...luckily i have sunday off this week. my weekends r kinda hectic but you guys should DEF come to spirittttttttt ;)

    i saw it wen i was at disco, sittin on the speaker but it didnt quite register and my track record of goin up to ppl thinking i knew them WAS NOT GOOD that day lol. n sorry, i KNOW ur not a kid its just a term i OVERUSE lol

    hmmm .. sahegodiva .. i think u r mixing two people here dear . hehe .. when did u see the mask??? coz i was there and if u did see the white mask on the back of someone's head . then that was me ... soo???

    the best run club in the city??? thats b/c they have HALF the problems other clubs have and its a STEADY tourist attraction. not too much of a security/drug concern going on in webster hall. im not saying their security is retarded but they dont EXACTLY have the issues other larger, less TOURIST filled clubs have. its not usually the visitors to our fine city smuggling the g, tina, n pills in the door gettin cracked out in the bathroom lol i have been to webster MANY times and even the few times wen the music was DECENT..the crowd is UNBEARABLE. it's good for a lite nite out, wen you wanna wander from room to room , and not have a crazy late nite while entertaining friends from out of town. lol just my .02

    The Dj on saturdays at webster is Moody the same guy who spins in the main room at croobar for their industry night. I guess he only sucks on saturdays. You guys are retatrded webster hall is the best run club in the city because they know how to throw a party. They are open for 14 years that says this place is fun. not to mention the place is packed every thurs friday sat. no other club in the city can claim that

    Y YES INDEEDIE I AM GOING :) most of my friends are of the ex- sf variety ( the LESS crackhead kind) lol so basically this is a no-brainer for me....must attend :) besides, i did like spirit the nite i went, nice place, layout what not. should be a good party.....kimmeeeeeeeee come n bring ur maskkkk lol btw...now that i think about it...wen i was sittin on the speaker at disco, WAY towards the end of the day wen VERY little isclear to me..i thought i saw a mask across the room. and i was like...is that that kid from the board?? and im like nahhh...i been in here too long n i cant see for shit lol. BESIDES i had already gone up to TWO ppl i THOUGHT were friends of mine who NEEDLESS to say were not :( nothin like makin an ass outta urself to have a good time...but now i figure that was prob u huh??? o wellllllll COME TO SPIRIT !!! :bounce:

    maybe...i still haven't been to spirit yet so the new party there might be a reason to go. are you?

    a friendof mine used to be OBSESSED w/ this club and being that it was free for ladies thursdays i had no legitimate excuse to get out of it....you might enjoy yourself, for your sake i hope but it's not at all like the club scene you seem to like by your other posts lol. the place is filled w/ smelly ppl, very diverse which can b ok but its just a weird set up-they have strippers n watnot, shows blah blah...open bar i think b4 midnite in the 80's room where the dancers are. its DIFFERENT....check it out but be ready lol

    heh heh...a little late here, but that IS funny because if you were there till bout 2pm, i woulda seen u at those speakers! I was sitting up there for a good hour :D and girl, are kidding me about not knowing how to dance? i'm no professional either...morillo's nite was the first time i've ever jumped into a circle actually! yayyyyyyy...*pat on back* all the crazy dancers were catching their breath so i decided to jump in...it was funnnn :D Digital said i looked like a DC-modified SF chick :laugh: So who cares if you dance to make an ass outa yourself...rip up that floor girlie! and people lookin like they wanna kill you just because you bump into them...that's not cool...and it's not fun trying to stay put to avoid bumpage...roaming/dancing all over the club is much more exciting :D
