1999 i came on this board.....Nyc was a playground...97-99 tunnle 91-94 limelight....

I thought it was bad eight years ago....I think the problem might be that there is too meny big clubs in one square mile.. and the cops dont like the kids walking all over the streets....

I got there about 2:45 the place had 3 lines so i did not have to wait to get in.. One thing that pissed me off was that i paid for a VIP ticket and when i asked about any Vip rooms like Exit was going to have,,, noone knew any thing...Place was way bigger then i thought it had three floors....Music was ok just ok....Most of the crowed was very young and there was Very little Security ..When you walked in Security was very fast and did not even do a complete search...I havent seen so much Drugs in the open in years but you can blame the young crowd for that....All in all i really did not have a bad time there was plenty places to chill.....

I never been there but i thought that club is very small? any info on the size?

I was wondering if this happend to anyone..I read that this kid took one pill and nothing happend he thought they were shit so the next night he took the same pill but he took 2 at the same time and he said that it hit him really hard....I read this about 2 years ago on this board..

A lot of people get pissed when we talk about the past but we always do,, the last 8,9 years just flew by...So what do you guys think is the biggest change since 98,99....?? Lets see late 70's to about 83 was disco... from 83 to 88 is a blank to me but from 89-94 was a big time at limelight and for ravers 95 96 97 ok 98-99 was the shit i think...People would party at the tunnle untill about 8am then go to SF....It was like its own little world... then after 2000 when clubs like tunnle and twilo closed down and sf got shut down like once a month things were not the same... WHY? the clubs today are ok but not great if they were we wont be talking so much about the past...

Yea i dont go out much anymore, cant get the old clubs friends to come out... and my girl does not know anything about my club past if she did i think she might dump me....But i have that itch...you guys know the one.....back in 98,99 every sat i had it, now just maybe once your twice a year....

Its sad but true you really do need to profile people...I know it sounds sad but its true......IF a bus blew up in nyc before they started doing the searches you would hear people bitch about how the city let this happen...When you fly they search you,,, so why do people bitch about the police doing a search before you enter a bus or train?????
