All the NYC clubs are not what they were 7 years ago ???? Main reason is like the kid said before the drugs... remember in 1998 everyone was on E in the clubs, People went into the city clubs to do it for the first time cause they did not want people they went to school with or work with know they were doing the drug...I remember going to the tunnle and running into cops and teachers from my home town in nj.....Now 7 years later most people moved on with there lives....Its sad i love the NYC clubs and miss the vibe they once had...Im not saying drugs are good but I would take a club full of E heads over a half empty club full of that new shit there doing now (you know what i mean)

I would say about 90% of the bitching on these boards are from young kids who promote....

I too was there fri night and i wore a hat but they did not seem to bother be about that,, but i must say the bartenders were fucking ass hole's no one was at the bar and it took me like 10 min to get a beer...>>>I dont know if any of you seen this guy but he was thin and tall 6,3 and had glasses and a black over coat.. he also had to work there because i saw him behind the bar at one pont...this guy was winking and trying to talk to me...really freaky .

Not very good.. at 2am the place had only 17 people on the dance floor...

My friends and i went last night got there around 1am and the place was dead..at 2:00 there was only about 16 people on the dance floor, so we went to avalon...i think Ikon is just to big....

I dont think oldtimer said anything wrong,,,,,,Listen i have been going to clubs for years and made tons of friends gay,straight,black,or white. but most of all the guidos i have ran it to are stuck up cocky dicks....

IF your going with a group of people who dont go out too often i think you will have a good time there....I havent been there in 7 years but its fine for people who dont go out often...The other clubs that you read about on this board are mostly all great clubs but for your friends that dont go out often webster hall is fine....the other clubs are a little more intense for your friends.... I dont like webster hall but i think if will be fine for your friends...

MOre room at akon remember its NYE... all the so called clubbers will be out...

its always nice to see some hot eye candy just keep them out of my fucken way....having the blocks in the middle of the dance floor when its not to big anyway is just dumb...

The room next to the bathrooms...ahhh Hard core is hard to find today at clubs unless your at a rave...I agree the clubs should have more rooms of music not just hiphop...

Its sad but true....Now that less poeple are doing E and more drinking a lot of fights are going to brake out....6 years ago at sf and tunnle 95% of the clubs were rolling and there were never any fights...im not saying e is a good thing but i would rather hang in a room of e heads then a room of drunk meat heads anyday.

The Dj may have a small point ..But he needs to wake up this is not 1998 and the NYC club's are not what they used to be...

I havent been there in months i went once when it was black,,,,my god it was bad one floor was opened..What did you like about it now with a nother new name.???

So i woke up this pass sunday morning around 9am ....walked in to my bathroom to take a morning piss, when i was done i looked outside and thought my god i remember getting home from the city at 9am sunday mornings...6 years have passed since the peak of the tunnle days and now i think about how much i miss those days....Every sunday leavng the clubs driving home to bergen county nj still high on 4 pills getting home and poping in a porno and wacking off for about 4hrs untill my hand fell asleep...After the tunnle closed in late Aug 2001 and stoped going out for a while ..Then the last few years with 4 of nyc biggest clubs being shut down its just not the same...I still love to party once in a while but i dont like going to a club that closes at 5am........
