  1. "malchikis about to give a little devotchka a little of the old in-and-out . . . All to the lovely strains of Ludwig van . . ."
  2. Ahh Detroit ... good times bad lighting ... cant ask for anything else
  3. sometimes its hard to shake the past label of being a "rave" Dj, but rave DJ's are what kept the EDM scene in the US alive and allowed it the time it needed to gain acceptance by the main stream ... DJ Irene is a great Dj and Judge Jules is amazing as well, been a while since either was in town. If you like Boris and his heavy beats, then DJ Irene is your bitch ...
  4. because google knows all ...
  5. whats even better if you just google search the two words, its quite clear what its all about. Its a popular pick among all the boys and girls! Also when smoked out of a volcano Vaporizer (shameless plug), its to sexy for words ...
  6. No really, people have to start beating their kids ... I know when i got outta line, moms excused herself, took me somewhere to muffle the cries and started whippin some ass. Then we would return and everyone looked at me with no remorse. Now i bet if the parents had taken that loud ass kid to the back of the plane and laid into him something fierce, they would have A. received applause and B. Really really had to ask people to stop volunteering to help beat him. Bad behavior = ass whipping, eventually, through enough stress relieving ass beatings aka conditioning aka behavior modification therapy, you will become the pack leaderrrrrr

  8. Couldnt have said it any better myself...
  9. buzzlife, one of the last production teams still standing from the good ole days ...
  10. i skimmed through most of the posts because it seemed they consisted mostly of insults and very little substance in regards to the thread/topic. The bottle crowd isnt about the music scene, they are out to be seen. They heard that XYZ dj is the newest shit so they go to hear said DJ and pop a bottle, why, cause thats what they were told is cool. Now granted the DJ was heard, but did they really listen? Maybe, maybe not ... and rarely will a "casual clubber" ever take the time to research a DJ they heard randomly and enjoyed tremendously. To much effort to do all that and in the meanwhile, another great talent is buried, and lost. in the end the bottle crowd isnt about the music, its about a scene that consists of status points based on how many bottles you drank while THIS close to the DJ. Now I cant say i never did the bottle thing, but i originally walked through the doors with intentions to hear a DJ, not to look pretty while dropping dough. Now with overseas markets being referenced as exposing new talent, let us not forget that they too offer bottle service. The difference between US and THEM is that radio stations are playing electronic tracks all the time, whole stations dedicated to it. So people are already about the music going into the club and purchase bottles service not only for presence of status and bling but just as much out of convenience. If we had stations with good EDM on the radio, things might be different. Alas, we here in NYC have KTU ...
  11. please please please people ... these are DJ's that have dedicated themselves to the music and have rocked out venues around the world before half of todays DJ's even got their first piece of wax. props to rewind for always bringing talent that rarely get booked in big rooms. Im going to try to make it out to this one and i hope the clubbers of today who worship commercial names will take a moment to hear some legends do their thing!
  12. 35 bucks ... and you got to hear AT THE LEAST 5 GREAT DJ's! (taking in to consideration that your to mangled at times to even have a concept of who was spinning ) now for 40 bucks i get ... i bumped this thread cause of the limelight turning into a strip mall thread ... i know venues cant go on forever, but what happened to the vibe, the scene, the talent and ultimately ... the music. Why did that all have to change?! I blame the DJ's for the most part ... there are DJ's who go to venues and will play the minimum of their contract, fucking duche bags. Jeff Mills for example, how are you going to come to NYC and only spin for 2 hours when over a thousand people came to hear you, thats some fucked shit. Regardless of the politics between, venue - promoter - agent - dj .... in the end, respect the people who come out to support not only you, but the music!
  13. i immediately went after hearing the drug supermarket thing in the news ... talk about a whole new connitation to the term, BAG YOUR OWN GOODS!! so many amazing memories, so many outlandish nights ..... and of course the music, oh where oh where has the talent gone?!
  14. dear lord baby jesus, could you do me a solid ... all over my chest?
  15. Yes, please keep circles to a minimum ... but everyone bring as many lines as possible for mikedon
  16. better late than never, but i had a GREAT TIME! Props to the people NYC Crew for bringing in different talent that needs to be heard! I also love the dirty dirty back room, good stuff! I cant wait to see what the team has lined up for Shelter/love ... man o' man PEOPLE NYC is on FIYAH!!
  17. i sit around dreaming of this "smoking" piece of ass
  18. Cant we just appreciate the fact that we have options ... Spirit is gone, Avalon no longer really does EDM parties ... each place has thier ups and downs ... good and bad, some may have had experiences that lead them to feel that one is better that the other. Some others just have been to a venue way more times and just always had a great time. Its nice though to be appreciated and i can say that i have some very cherished memories that have occured in crobar and for that i thank them. Still, comparing the two is like caBut to say one is better than the other whole heartedly is just being biased
  19. Thanks bro, i understand that your trying to make sure shit is all legit and correct ... and for that, i applaude you!
  20. Fred, bro ... you of all people know about network address translation and you know how when multiple people all work out of one location they will show the ONE IP address ... so you think that pacha has ONE kid using ALL those names ... also, do you know how many promoters go to the building for whatever reason... so then, if they are just giving pacha props, then they would be doing their job, from, OH NO .. WHERE THEY WORK!!!! ... and above all, why do you care so much ... let the talent speak for itself!
  21. and no, its not for their skat porn ... its because they have parties like this!
  22. great music, always a great vibe, but i was quite disappointed that this didnt go down, its such a rare treat to have 2 techno legends and it didnt come through ... :cuss:
