Anyone know the club scene in amsterdam? Someone from globalunderground gave me this list of clubs: escape, hotel arena, paradiso, panama, powerzone, and trance buddha etc. I'm going on a bachelor party so we're looking for a crobar/spirit type place with a big-name DJ[sander K, pvd, S&D, Deep Dish, etc.] And some of my friends are looking to party at the club wink wink. Whats the safe way to do that in terms of buying? Any advice would be much appreciated.

www.pvd-clubworld.de/ says pvd is at crobar April 15th-two weeks after digweed!!!!!!!!!!!! Can anyone confirm this? Why can't crobar get a big-name DJ ever?

Sullivan Room needs a monday night party again...someone needs 2 make it happen

Some people are critical just so they have something intelligent to say-and that sux. But when you have a crowd of people that will give a dj shit for being off-it puts pressure on the club and dj to do an extra special job when they do a set in nyc-this provides for ridiculous scene most night of the week. Its like the yankees, we feel like losers every time we don't win the series, and that puts pressure on the team & organization to win-more so than any other team. At the end of the day nyc bitching pushes the city into a new relm of excellence and that makes it all worth it.

Canes need to replece Coker and Berlin with JJ and Kyle Wright. Its sad seeing a an NFL team(the canes) struggle to beat above average college teams and rarely win college championships(they should have won the last 4 years since the NFL draft recognized their far superior talent). Go Canes

Crobar on tuesday was a 10. Tiesto was a 9. Its been a good 24hours.

One thing I didn't like was the screen during PVD. My buzz was maxed out 10 minutes into pvd as he was throwing down some nasty hard beats, then I see "vote" flash real fast on the screen. They did it like six more times, it was kind of clockwork orangish. Whatever, if I got brainwashed, it was totally worth it.

Holy shit. I left around 2:45. Wow. Sasha: 10times better than your july set. PVD: first half hour was incredible, time of our lives was nice, but must for an angel always be played always. I love crobar; I liked walking in w/o being searched or asked for a cover. Tiesto better not disappoint today. Wednesday morning is going to be ugly.

Sullivan room is a great alternative to big clubs if you are into house.

Crobar can be a tight club if you go from 2-6. they get some great DJs Digweed, Sasha, and Sander Kleinenberg have all been twice so far in 2004. Plus I like how they manage the drug scene. They crack down so you don't see it everywhere, and you're not sweating a possible raid like SF, Exit, and probably spirit sometime soon. But, they don't crack down too hard, so people who want a little extra can, but they are usually pretty DL about it. Crobar does suck from 10-1 in terms of the people, the music, and the vibe. And some of there residents are better than others-I had a blast one time when the scumfrog was spinning-not as much with david waxman. But if you approach it right, it will be tight.
