We are proud to welcome 2 artists hailing from London and Paris that will be performing for the 1st time ever in NYC for our party for their debuts. Stuart Geddes aka GEDDES, and also one third of the production trio Rekleiner (alongside Audiofly's Anthony Middleton and Luca Saporito), is the label boss of Murmur. With 8 full EP's already released, some of the talent that label boasts in both original tracks and remixes are Rekleiner, Daniel Stefanik, Reclick & Nick Curly, Bearweasel, Dubshape, Craig Torrance & Philip Hochstrate, SIS, Tom Demac, Glimpse, Nima Gorji, Einzelkind, Seuil and Geddes himself. Teaming up with our friends Blk|Market Membership & Resident Advisor, we're gonna be throwing an intimate party, a must check prospect for Deep House & Techno heads and party people alike, visiting Miami over the conference period. In keeping with the secretsundaze philosophy, we're shunning the main clubs in favour of more of an off-location venue, in Ecco – a recently opened downtown Pizza parlour with a suitable second space used for parties and events. Headlining proceedings we welcome our good friend from Innervisions, Dixon. Having played for us several times in the past, we knew he was a man we could trust. He is a very respected DJ, producer (with George Levin as Wahoo) and his Berlin based imprint is synonymous with quality and focussed underground House. Apart from an Innervisions showcase party, we were thrilled that Dixon chose secretsundaze as his only other date at WMC 09. We also welcome back another firm favourite in Keith Worthy – as our biggest surprise guest of secretsundaze 2008, and having rocked with us at Panorama Bar in Berlin, he again was a first choice. Famed for his uber-deep and silky productions on his Aesthetic Audio, alongside the likes of Patrice Scott, Keith is part of the much heralded new-wave / 3rd generation of producers emerging from Detroit. Blk|market Membership Welcomes Cari Lekebusch + Alexi Delano, 2 artists who put Sweden on the techno map back in the early 90's along with Adam Beyer, Joel Mull and Jesper Dahlback. Both artists have had a series of releases dating back from 1994 to present. Cari Lekebusch has produced numerous original releases and remixes on such famous labels as his own H-productions label (formerly Hybrid), Adam Beyer's 'Drumcode' + 'Truesoul' imprints, Turbo, Loop Records, Jericho, Novamute, MB Elektronics, Primevil, Svek, Harthouse and the list goes on. We first caught Cari Lekebusch back at Cafe Deville for the ROBOTS party a few years ago and then got to see him again in NYC at Studio B. Needless to say if you have not seen Cari yet DJ, you are in for a ride. When you think Alexi Delano, you think of Stockholm meets New York City. Alexi Delano also has been producing and releasing records since 1995 and has worked closely with Cari as well. The man behind PORTABLE is Alan Abrahams, also know as Bodycode. As Craig Richards says, 'Alan Abraham's live show is one of a kind.' His experimentation in combining 4/4 house with various traditional South African rhythms and his own vocals, gives us a commentary on the political turmoil of his country back then in many of his tracks. He has released records on labels such as ~Scape, Karat, Spectral, Mutek, Revolver, and in 2008 he has released records on Musik Krause and the legendary Perlon label. "Knowone can take away" on Perlon was voted by Groove Magazine in 2008 as the best 12" of 2008. On the US based Spectral label (home to Matthew Dear) Alan produces under the guise of 'Bodycode.' His debut album 'The conservation of electric charge' is an absolute winner and was released in 2007 as well. Alan also runs his own record label entitled Süd Electronic.
