How many ranked teams has the Big East beaten this year in non conference play. It was 1, when Miami was ranked 17th. All the oter teams were average or below average teams. That 32-8 looks great doesn't it. The SEC has 1 win against ranked, the Vols beat Cal when they were ranked 8. and the Big Ten has 2, Ohio St. beat Texas when they were ranked 2,and then Michigan beat N.D. when they were ranked 2.

Let's see how many people are jumping on their bandwagon. Now it will be the winner of Michigan and Ohio St,and a team from the SEC playing for the National Championship. That just put an end to all this Loisiville and W.V. crap for the National Championship. Rutgers it will not happen you going to the National Championship.

The BCS is a joke, and your right for the hoops part. The only time NCAA hoops counts is March Madness,other than that nobody cares.

Compared to the ACC,SEC,Big 10&12,those conferences have power house teams that continually play tough schedules. The teams are better and the competition is better. Who has W.V. and Louisville played that is legitimate contenders. Don't say Miami either they are a joke this year. If W.V. or Louisville played teams like Michigan,Ohio State,LSU,Auburn,Texas,Florida,Clemson,GT,Oklahoma or other top teams and beat them. Then you could consider them powerhouses or could respect that conference. The Big East goofed about 10 or more years ago when they could of had teams like Penn State,Florida State and Notre Dame join that conference. Then you still would of had Miami,VT,and BC in that league. If those teams joined and the others stayed,it would have been one of the toughest conferences in the country. But that is in the past. Now the Big East has to deal with it, being considered a soft conference.

Congrats to both teams for playing a good and exciting series. Suppan and Perez both pitched really good for both sides. Even though the Mets lost, Chavez made the best catch of all the playoffs. How in the hell is USC ranked #2,they are very overrated. They don't have the firepower like in years past and play in an overrated conference. Also West Virginia and Louisville do not belong in the top 10 either,they too play in a weak conference. Anybody agree?
