  1. The only ones I'm sure of at this point at Wet Grooves. The only artist I'd love to see live during WMC but won't be able to is BT. I'm actually really psyched that there will be food at the Wet Grooves BBQ. Might be the only time I actually consume food for the week...
  2. I've been to shows and parties all over the world....4 or the 5 hands down best parties of my life have been Wet Grooves events. If you haven't been there, you cannot even imagine.
  3. PS KC 101 is gone? Boy they have been around since I was a lil chap...
  4. I have been do about every decent club to great club in every major market in America. And have been to Alchemy. You guys are really, really lucky to have Alchemy which gives everyone in the area a chance to hear top DJs all the time. Every club has it's issues but if you don't like Alchemy there are plenty of other dance party nights you can go to in the area to dance to remixes and boy band music.
  5. Ironic..but a few after I originally posted my post in the thread, someone alerted me that Tiesto calls him his #1 favorite new DJ... Tiësto
  6. Personally, I have a great and deep affinity for blondes with large bosoms... Very, very deep...
  7. I had never really heard of Eddie until I saw him at Wet Grooves at the Albion in Miami. This kid KILLED IT....honestly, the audience reacted as intensly as I've ever seen any audience act.... His style is a little harder than I typically would enjoy but man....he KILLED IT.... I'd see him anywhere, any time..
  8. Think I have it going now. Had the "receive from admins" option off for some reason...
  9. I'm still trying to work my way up to glowstick status...
  10. It's all about the draw they are going to get, and how much money they will generate in attandance. The more pple they are going to draw, the more they are going ot be paid. It's that simple.
  11. I can see it now..."daVe and the clubplanet factory". All the oompa loompa would be wearing large baggy clothes, goggles and incorporating glowsticks into thier mini-dance routines.... Yes, Sagittaruis = awesome Will tell him lola!
  12. Ummm.... Hi, I work at Clubplanet. I don't post much but always check out what you guys have to say. Thanks for posting and we hope you all continue to enjoy! Oh and hi Lola. I see you've got it held down pretty tight around here. Never really got a chance to say hello but I suppose this is appropriate
  13. Can't apeak about AM but I do know for an absolute fact some DJs get WAY over $100k for a night. Some venues also book top DJs pretty well aware tthat they are going to take a loss for the signle night. They look at it as inventing in the name/brand of thier club and it does have it's practical value.
  14. I like Serge a lot. There is a lot more national interest for thim building and I think you are going to see/hear a LOT more of/about him in the next year or so in much more than an opening capacity.
  15. What do you gusy think of the Clubplanet mp3 mix? I would figure that most folks would like it, after all it is free hehe... Would you like to see more initiatives like this?
  16. We know. You're going to see less of them in the future.
  17. Hi Georgia, welcome to the Clubplanet community. I'd recommend picking a few destinations you;d liek to check out. Sometimes a club can be so packed that they simply aren't allowing anyone in at all. If you have a few choices in mind, you can just zip over to the next place if you encounter any problems. Arriving early always increases chances of entry. SHow up early, look good and be nice and friendly will maximize your chances anywhere. Have fun!
  18. Got in on Thursday. Was psyched becasue my hotel upgraded me to the penthouse. Went to a strip club on Lincoln which did not serve alcoholic drinks?! Wound up at some hotel on Collins and had a good time. Friday went to Wet Grooves @ Albion. The rain was obviosly not ideal but it did dry up a little later...Artist of note - Eddie Halliwell. I had never heard him before but he really killed it. Am keeping an eye out for him in the future. Friday - slept till 4pm then went to Wet Grooves at Nikkie Beach (damn that place was full of hot women!!). BT and Benny Benassi...have liked BT for a long time but just have been checking out benny Benassi...he made a few mistakes but overall he really has some good shit. Went from there to a friends hotel room until 6am when I stumbled home. Slept all the next day but was able to pick up some cool clothes I have never seen here in NYC. Overall had a great time!
