most def i would go, his sets are short 2 hours top, but you still get 2 hours of trance with vocals mixed well. thats a rare treat for nyc.

Lets not forget that crobar is a chain and above all a buisness. That have investors to report to. They must make a profit and have as little trouble as possible. They get great djs because they can afford to pay them. Spirit is a local nyc club. There is a big diff. I prefer crobar because there is no bs. I get to hear world class djs, enjoy a drink and dance without a hassle. Clubbin is to go out have fun, dance, hear good tunes and not all the bs. Sure the sound isnt the best, but when its 4am and you are lost in the music it doesnt make the much of a diff. Also what makes it for me is there none of that bs door policy. If you look nice and have the money you are getiing in. Also whats so wrong being out with people that look nice?

Dont like the club and its usually 18 and up. Prefer crobar. Older crowd and much better security.

yes the interview was lame, but it seemed her main concern is to get as much face time for the camera, the int. seemed secondary, oh well its still a kick to see the clubs and hats off to cp for trying something different. sure the scene has changed, im been clubbin since studio 54 days. but who cares its still as much fun as always. who cares whos at the club or where they are from. its all about the music and the vibe. whenever we go out we have a blast, because we make sure that we do. just dance and get lost in the music. last week at pvd was the best. kid chris this sat will be great also. see ya all there.

well here goes since no one posted- 1. 11-12 herded like cattle in the reed room listening to hip-hop, id rather have surgery without anesthesia. 2. 12-2 edgar v, great set, beautiful vocal trance. smiling faces everywhere. danced non-stop. 3. 2am, pvd on after some equipment problems, 2-5 beautiful trance only the way pvd can do. the positive vibe was beautiful. 4. 5am, started techno set, not my style so i split at 6am. 5. overall rate an 8 for the night. i love trance esp. with vocals so it was sweet for me. crowd was not negative, all people dancing together. polite and not that crowded since a lot were at dt. i only wish crobar would book major trance djs on a regular basis. seems like avalon and spirit get them and i do not like those clubs. 6. and as always staff at crobar were first rate and never waited long for a drink. 7. that sums it up for me. im still awake when writing this so im a little fuzzy on track selection. but what i do remember i was not dissapointed. peace,

just go to crobar and avoid all this crap. security is so much better there. any problems le them know and its taken care of asap. also usually an older crowd there which makes a bigg diff. also sullivan room is a great safe place to partry. no bs there at all. just avoid spirit and do yourself a favor.

couldnt agree more. eric was great but the diddy crap spolied a lot of it. spirit is to small anyway. only like him at crobar. better security and less drugs. i will wait until next time, anyway d. carter at crobar friday. rare chance to see a true master.
