  1. Va fa Napoli! Watch out for all the guys who try to sell you one of the thirty "Rolexes" hanging from their jackets and arms.
  2. Cannavaro and Emerson to Madrid! http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=374133&cc=5739 Even though they have the world's best defender and a great holding midfielder, they're still going to leak a lot of goals in next year.
  3. Good gear. I hope pre-Black? This is where I am disappointed in you. Morello is all pedals. Don't tell me you also like Audioslave . . . Otherwise, mostly good shit.
  4. What do you play and who are you into?
  5. Little girl, you can be my student. I would lure you everyday after school into my '77 Trans-Am by offering you Snickers.
  6. I hated the Decepticons. Bumblebee!
  7. Even though I was a big fan of Maximum Carnage which was the equivalent of a Royal Rumble, bringing Cletus Kasady this early into the series is a bit overkill IMO.
  8. Do your research before you post.
  9. Why is it preposterous? It was vice-versa in the comic books. Spiderman accidentially snapped Gwen's neck when he used his webbing to catch her, as the Green Goblin threw her off the GW. I'm not certain about the location, as it might have been the 59th St bridge.
  10. :rofl: Fuck Juve! Of course though, Inter has little chance of acquiring Zambrotta, Cannavaro or Buffoon.
  11. Deeper don't even bother commenting on this.
  12. Juve are going to have to firesale. I heard that Zambrotta is on his way to Barca and Cannavaro is going to Madrid. Trezeguet, Buffoon, Emerson and Vieira all will most likely take off as well.
  13. I think they will just loan him for now, so he can gain first-team experience. He could be a strong keeper for the future, but he is not going to get any playing time right now w/ Van der Sar in front of him.
  14. Not the best explanation, but at least it is in layman terms. While players can be traded for each other, similar to American sports, the majority of time contracts of players are bought out. For example, when Sir Alex Ferguson and his scouts saw Cristiano Ronaldo play at Sporting Lisbon, he decided to purchase him. However since Ronaldo was already contracted to play for Sporting Lisbon, Man U had to financially compensate the Portuguese team for voiding his contract so they can now sign him They paid around 12 million pounds to secure his services.
  15. A transfer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transfer_market Transfer Market The Transfer Market is a catch-all term used to describe the list of players available for transfer, and also the money moving between clubs. For example a club may be described as having "money to spend on the transfer market" [1], or the market may be described in similar ways to the Stock Market [2]. Chelsea F.C. has had a huge impact on the British transfer market in recent years due to the huge money invested by Roman Abramovich to spend on players. However some believe this is having a negative effect on the market as a whole [3]. [edit] Transfer List If a player is "put on the transfer list" [4] (a phrase popular in the media), the club who owns the player are stating their intention to sell him. Other clubs are encouraged to bid for the player in an attempt to sign him. [edit] Transfer Request A player may make a "transfer request" [5]. In this case, the player is publically stating his desire to move, and encouraging other clubs to make an offer for him. Due to the public nature of transfer requests, they may often be used by players to air their grievances in the open, such as frustration over contract negotiations [6] or clash of personality with the manager. Often a player may remove their request if the source of unhappiness is resolved [7]. Alternatively a club can reject a transfer request, effectively stating their intention to reject any offer for their player [8]. In post-Bosman football, the effect of rejecting a transfer request has been weakened, as players can see out their contract and eventually leave for free. Clubs are more inclined to sell the player in order to recoup some money, even if they do not wish to let the player go.
  16. Well taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loan_%28football%29 A loan: In football (soccer), a loan involves a particular player being allowed to temporarily play for a club other than the one he is currently contracted to. Loan deals may last from a few weeks to all season-long. Players may be loaned out to other clubs for several reasons. Most commonly, youth players will be loaned to a club from a lower league in order to gain them valuable first team experience. A club may loan a player if they are short on transfer funds but can still pay wages. Some players are loaned because they are unhappy or in dispute with their current club and no other club wishes to buy them permanently. Examples of this situation include Henri Camara with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Craig Bellamy with Newcastle United. One unusual situation was in 2006, when Samuel Eto'o signed for a one match loan with Al-Ittihad to help ensure they won a cup final.
  17. Negative - I think you're confusing me with yourself, except that you're at W 46th St.
  18. LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :rofl::rofl:
  19. You fucking better. Or else I'm going to form a dance-circle around your corpse at JP's next "Classics Night".
  20. Good next time you see him, tell him that I saw his girl going down on Vinne LaRue outside of Deko.
