What a sick party!!! Well over 1,000 people in there. we had a circus theme with performers all over the club and on stage doing some crazy stuff...too cool.
I would also like to formally thank the owners for hanging the ceiling cage with the lovely dancing girls in front of my VIP bar. It made it VERY hard to concentrate on drink orders!
There was a great vibe in there, music was great!
If anyone on this board was there I would love to hear your thoughts on the
ening.
I might be looking to come in this Friday, are you working the VIP bar this Friday? How has the vibe been on Friday nights?

After 9 years of commuting into the city I have decided that it's time I stopped being double taxed...I took a job right outside of Princeton.
Question: Do people in Jersey go out for drinks after work?! ha ha I'm sure I'll find out from my co-workers when I start in a few weeks but the stigma is that people who live and work in Jersey go home after work. Any places that someone can recommend?
I know one place you can go after work on Fridays, Katmandutrenton.com check it out, huge afterwork buffet on Fridays. That is one place I know of.

there should be a bus for Sunday that would take you to Djais and Surf club for the day so everyone does not have to drive, I like the idea of the bus from Joeys to Surf, but for me by the time I drive to Clifton, I can be at the Surf club, imagaine everyone driving home Sunday on the Parkway and everyone is drunk!!!! Not a pretty picture though.

My brother is 19 and his girlfriend turns 18 this Friday.

The place was hot in 1999. As of lately on Fridays and Saturdays it draws mis-fits that can not get into other clubs. It all depends on what you like.

Studio 54 is a hot club, as for guest lists and all that, not to sure about that. What casino are you staying in, sometimes if you are a guest and they have a nightclub, maybe you get in free or for a discount. I met this chick at Studio 54 last year, and she got me in for free the next night, I tried calling her but she has not called me back. If she does, I'll ask if you can call her when your in town.

I am Happy to announce one of my very good friends is gonna be throwing down sick beats every Thursday night till 4 am. It will be an outside party every thursday night @ Waterloo in Staten Island with staten Islands own DJ/Producer SAL PARM (plasmic honey) They are bringing a sick soundsystem for the outside and decorating it trendy Miami style.
Grand Opening preview party is May 5th Cinco de Mayo @ Waterloo
OPEN TILL 4am!!!!!!! Outside party so yes you can smoke...

Where in South Plainfield? Anyone know what happened to the Club in Plainfield, never opened back up this past September. I forgot the name of it, thats how bad they went down the drain. I recall it being Club Shout for a while.

I bet this place stays open in the summer, I do love Djais, the place is cool, during happy hour and all, but at night, forget it, to many people. The place is a mob house. But, at the same time, djais has the best off the beach happy hour. Thursday nights in the summer would be the night to promote, or even Friday nights. Why fight the traffic, come to Studio 9 party Friday nights and go to the shore Saturday.

I love how this place tries so hard to bring in a crowd...
u know something? u really dont have to...I checked out this place for the first time this past Saturday and i'm not gonna sit here and bash the place and bitch about the parking, the cover, the drowned sound system, etc.
all i'm gonna say is that the place is like being at a high school dance...a bunch of young kids from Staten Island running around, no one dancing, no one could care less that Tsettos & Ojeda were spinnin; although everyone was drinkin and smilin
So puhleaase, save your money, nobody who goes there can care less about Paul Jokenfold, Skribble, the Sopranos, etc...just keep Johnny Maroney and give yourself a raise.

What do you mean know one cares about Ojeda or Tesettos, in my opinion, where ever Denny DJ's, he brings in a crowd, look at how he was going to leave Tempts, alot of people were like I'm not going anymore etc, now that he will be the resident DJ on Sundays, that place will kick ass. DJ Scribble is awesome, the things that he does on the Turntables is pretty cool.
I never heard of Johnny Maroney, so no opinion on how he plays.
