  1. AC is definitly making a change and hopefully turns out good. they are puttin in all new clothing stores such as armani, versace, louie vutton etc. in the new peir at ceasers palace. also there will be a 40/40 lounge in the peir as well and i think jay z owns it. not sure on that though. the house of blues will be opening up and that is down by the showboat. so every year AC is tryin to clean things up and make it worth visiting.

Hey I was down in AC Sunday, and when I went to go check out Nikki Beach to see what it looks like so far, not much to look out just yet.

  2. That is horrible. What happened? Was he/she hit, or just dumped the bike?

I took my bike all day yesterday and it was so nice. I saw so many bikers out. But I don't condone the wheelies, endos, flying down little highways, weaving between cars, etc. My friends like to do little stunts, but they are just bad news. My friends have already been hurt doing that stunt stuff.

hey I feel the same, I think people that are into the bikes is a cool thing, but when you see traffic on the parkway or whatever highway and then some of these people drive right between the cars, what if someone had to open there car door or some car started to change lanes and you don't see the person on the bike. one time driving down route 1, I a group of guys doing the weelies etc.

  3. yea the public grand opening is the 27th. not sure about the charge but once i get back from the meeting next week ill let you know whats up. i know there main grand opening is the 20th but for Nikki Vips and shit like that. but im thinkin if you get there by a certain time it might be free or a small charge then after a night hour it would be like 15 or 20, depends on who the dj is for that day/night.

Sounds pretty good to me, i got a free room at Harrahs Thursday night, then planning on staying down for Friday prob and checking out Nikki Beach. :pint:

  4. that place will never change. im surprised it is still open.

    Z

That place is pretty cool, they have a little something for everyone, hip-hop, 70s through the 90's room or something, salsa music and the ball room with house and techno.

But it is true haven't been in about a year or so now, so can't give any reviews, but I enjoyed the ball-room the most with the circular lights that came down upon the dance floor like a space ship or something.

The only thing that sucks, is if your all the way up in the balcony section and want to have a cig, you have to walk all the way down stairs and go outside, with such a huge place, they should be able to find a room with no employees and have a smoking room.

  5. This place is still open? it used to be great in the early 90's, but now..forget it...i was there last year around xmas time to meet up with friends...my have things changed!!! it's like a hangout for all the degenerates of woodbridge. everyone there was 40 & up and MAYBE some 21 mixed in. no offense to any onf you if you like it, but i really don't know how they stay around.

    :yuck::yuck:

Trust, I used to like this place back in the day as well, when the had the boxing ring and all, But it is a great Steak House.

  6. How many people think when you go out to a club, that you should dress up somewhat and look good vs wearing a t-shirt, headwear etc etc.

When I go out, I notice guys and girls looking good, and then you get the select few wearing t-shirts etc etc.

    What is everyone else's opinion?

  7. Hey - I'm a Terps fan. But you can't knock the best team in the land. Carolina could b1tch slap the Bobcats or play with half the NBA.... Some would say they are better suited for the NBA than a college game...

HELLLO UNC!!!! They won me some money

  9. if it were up to some people in there, we'd love a promoter to bring in cool people. i have no idea why they bring in skribble, and he's not stupid, he only comes on weekends he KNOWS there will be massive crowds, for instance, last weekend, noone was there for him, it was friggin' spring break. and last time he was here, it was thanksgiving weekend.

so it makes it look like HE brought all the people in. i took a quick survey in the entrance line, noone was there for him. meanwhile he gets a table for his buddies, all the drinks they want, etc.

where's the love for the residents that keep people in there EVERY weekend?

anyway, sure i'd love to have some hot names in there, but i'm noone. we've been trying to get some video turntables in there for awhile, maybe link 2 of the screens in there to that, but that's been "in the works" for about a year now.

things just happen really slow in there. i guess because it's more of a corporation than your normal club is.

Your right when it comes to being a corpation I guess, But then who is Mixx using to bring in top name DJ's. I don't recall who the resident DJ's are, except for maybe Moe Green, the vibe is really good, and love the outside deck in the summer time. During the summer is Xanadu open? I think they played mostley house and all, but I know that that Hip-Hop is in right now and all, but when your feeling the house then all of sudden you hear usher or Snoop dog.

  10. last weekend rumor is the host, 2 security guards and 2 bartenders got arrested for dealing drugs in there.

NOT the way to run a club, imo.

Nope, that does not sound good to me, as for the Mixx, it is a really nice place, and all, but I like the Casbah better, why don't you guys bring in Denny sometime, also Play more house!!!!
