You bartend at studio 9? Where you there last night? I stopped in for a few just to check out the place, very nice inside. I can what people on here mean about it being dark, but that doesn't bother me at all. The sound system sounded pretty good, although one bartender told me they had to just replace some speakers or something. Anyway, if you are bartending tonight, look forward to saying hi. Ken

How much do you get to actually save on the cover by getting on the guest list? Cover tonight I think is 13. I really think they should offer free admission for early birds before 10, i mean your going to spend money on drinks which are 4-7 dollars a pop or something. Anyway thanks!

PS I know Joey from Abyss, does he still have long hair and did he ever get married? I recall him saying he had a son??? I don't know him that well, but from being a regular at Abyss back in the day, he knew who I was.

What night will cater to an older crowd? Also Do you know what they are planning for Thursday nights? As for the cover issue, granted their are some high covers in NJ and if you don't like it, don't go. You can find places that charge a decent fee, or even free before a certain time. I think Free before 10:30 11, is a good thing. Give people a chance to not have to pay cover if they wish to get to the club early. Look forward to checking out Studio 9 in the new year. Cheerio!

Anyone recall the PlayPen, great place for dancing on the weekends back in the day. Abyss rocked back in the day with Denny, and Frankie V. Eversince Sayerville changed last call to 2:00am, things just ain't the same. Seems like the few times I would go, they never had the main dance floor open. Plus, they used to be 21 and over at least for the men, now 18 and over for everyone. Have try Decko one of these days and looking forward to Checking out Studio 9 in the new year. Peace! Anyone heard of the Polusa Center in Roselle, NJ on route 27(St George Ave) I went once on a Friday a few weeks ago, pretty cool place. music was pretty good. 12/25 Tina Ann is singing and free till 10:30pm. I think after the family thing, heading over there.
