tru you got a good point, i was also reffering to his past parties because a lot of them were pretty weak but i just recently heard about that JP party at Pacha and havin heard from so many different people who would usually not like him and havin heard his track from that video on youtube it seems to me like this is one of the only sets that i have heard from him that was pretty sick. Im not denying the fact that he wasnt dope back a couple years ago, but yea im hopin he keeps it up and not play the garbage he's used to spinnin lately.

for the record........ no offense to anyone here but JP spins garbage and we all know it, yea he has his sick sets 1/3 times but do u really expect him to play any other tracks besides his "classics" ? do u people even listen to the other genres of EDM that are out there right now?? its really sad to hear people even begin to argue about this when you guys know there are way better talents out there, get over it already the guy's been doin too much tina, yes he used to be good and played some variety of trance,house,tribal circa 98-2000 but when i hear people say he's the best DJ here in NY i just have to fuckin laugh, that has to be the best joke i ever heard lol lets not forget the real, true legends of EDM in NYC...

JP is a tool................ i'll agree and say that his parties years back were dope but His recent parties and crowd are horrible

yea the only reason i would've went to this party was for the mere fact that it was gonna b at EXIT too, then again i wouldnt've been able to make it to this because i have classes the next day

yea teen nights back in the days were nothin compared to the ones now.... i remember goin to the local teen nights up in westchester, which was also called the "Palladium" it was def a sick place and the vibe there i remember was awesome, but they did throw many different teen nights in the city at clubs like : Avalon(Limelight), Tunnel, Roxy, EXIT.... fuckin sick teen nights back at EXIT and TUNNEL they never played that much of that ktu crap, the dj's were varied and played a lot of house,trance,hardtrance,hardstyle,hardhouse but newayz from what i hear now the teen nights in the city are absolutely horrible....

i love psytrance, goa and i really got into electro punk, electro house those are some coo genres of EDM.... i've been to an electro house/ psytrance party in Spain which was absolutely amazing !!!

i agree EXIT's sound system is pretty good dont forget that that club is bigger then any other clubs in the NYC area .... newayz it wouldnt b a shithole if they didnt keep spinnin hip hop and reggaeton every nights there, wat happened to electronic music? newayz JP is good if u like House,tribal, diva house, i dont really like JP bcuz most of the times i hear he's repetitive and spins the same mainstream ktu stuff but yeh he definitely doesnt measure up to AVB or Danny T, back in the days thou he used to spin trance

yep i so agree with this statement, and i believe that the hip hop that once lived back in the days is truly dead, in todays world Hip Hop or "rap" is nothing more then money,greed,cars, the gangzta hip hop influence on suburbia, "bitches shakin their asses" in music videos,... of course there are lyricists/hip hop artists i still listen to today but the majority is garbage, its as though they have completely rejected most of the hip hop elements such as the dancing and Bboyin'.... and it bothers me to see that people listen and buy into this fake idealistic image of what hip hop really is about. with that said i checked out a couple of those videos that was posted on another thread on here about House music which i thought was very interesting, although i listen to almost every genre of EDM, lookin back at those videos it reminded me of back in the days and how i used to listen and wonder what it was (they would also put some house tracks on video games)and how much i liked it at a very young age when some of my older siblings were listenin to some of it.

JP is def not worth it, he will probably trainwreck, i would say go for Calderone

i agree with u to a certain extent, i agree that NY needs to make their own club and not follow up on the chain clubs so that at least it would b somethin new and refreshing. I actually love all those European Dj's becuz most of the time the crowd is mixed and it doesnt bring all those guido's or guidettes since they love their god JP, but honestly if it wernt for these dj's most of the scene now would b dead.... unless of course u go to raves, which obviously brings in a hell lot more different talents and genres of EDM and bsides why would u only want dj's from Ny?? that would b boring, u need some diversity in the club scene...
