  1. got ya.....whats your preference to play when your out?
  2. There's nothing wrong with being able to play more than one genre.....and besides it's not what I want to hear, it's what they wanna hear.
  3. Good I'm glad.....it just sucked because anytime i really need that loop when I'm trying to do six other things at once it would fuck up and i would echo it out and slam something else in. But if it works for u than use it. I just store samples in the 5000's and 6000 and just load them whenever I turn them on.
  4. I used to sell them and when I did I got to talk to the Pioneer rep, he explained that it counts the most frequent re-occuring frequency, which is not always necessiarly the up or down beat. Most of the time yea its pretty good, but when u actually need it too work it fucks up......thats why I switched.
  5. I don't know what the hype is about the CDJ's honestly....they're not the great. The Auto-loop isn't always accurate, they have problems with burnt CD's (and Pioneer has admitted that), the master tempo is ok, and the buttons stick sometimes. But thats only my opinion. Can someone please tell me how to make picture images smaller so I can post my set-up's.
  6. I would buy all over again if I had too it's a great mixer. The last coupple of years I've been to the convention in AC I really haven't been impressed so I don't know if I'm going this year. But good luck looking for the deal.
  7. Yes it does have a split cue, and the program level is independant from the master level. $1400 is a good price I paid $1350 plus tax, and I'll be honest.....I really never want to use another mixer. My boss has an MP24Z and I can't stand it. You just have soo much flexibility with the MP44 that it's insane. And its built solid too, like the switchs may look cheap, but everything has a solid yet smooth feel to it. If your gonna get it make sure you have a Pioneer EFX-500 because two go hand-in-hand.
  8. Yes the MP44 has an individual effects loop for the channels, one loop for the master, and independant loops for the Mics as well. The EQ is a full cut on each frequency and is switchable (as in active EQ or no active EQ).
  9. I gotta agree about the faders being too short. Plus I don't like the sound quality that comes out of the master outputs, the effects processor that they used in it sucks (they should have used the one from the EFX-500) because it is no where near the same, the cue/program knob is controlled by the master level which I'm not peronally a fan of, and last i checked it didn't have an independant effects loop. I use the Rane MP44........I swear I'll never use anything else.
  10. I'm looking for any store in the tri-state selling serious reggaeton on either CD or Vinyl. Like the if I wanted to spin just reggaeton for 4 or 5 hours where would I be able to buy enough music.
  11. I'm a DJ myself so i can appreciate the different styles because I know the work that goes into them
  12. the 9000 has something called an alpha track. that is basically like a whole seperate cd player within the same deck (deck A has 2 outputs and deck b has two output.....main/alpha) the 9000 also has removable drives, more hot starts, 2 samplers as opposed to one, and some other features. i don't like the controller on the 9000....its too small with too many buttons in that small area.
  13. no that amp doesn't either. Do you have any booth or zone outputs on your mixer? Because if you do you can use one set of outputs to the powered speakers and one set to the passive. I used to do it that way to control the limit on my amp and the limits on my powered speakers.
  14. No the dnd-600 is better. the slot drawers don't have as many moving parts to break as the 9000. i have both the dnd-6000 and the 4000 in my rack, side-by-side and the only time i use the 4000 is when both of the 6000 decks are being used. (the hot start is better on the 6000 also)
  15. Yo did anybody hear about a rave on the lower east side. I have an address but don't want it to be a bust
  16. The crown ce200 doesn't have the through option QSC 700.....is that the whole model number?
  17. New music.....never hurts. Send it on over
  18. New tracks anybody?
  19. Whitney Houston- I wanna dance with somebody (Junior's Happy Handbag Mix) Superchumbo- Dirty Filthy Susanne Palmer- Home (Offer Nissim Mix Part 2) Angie Stone- I wanna thank you (Hex Hector Mix) DJ Chus & Cellabos Vs. Richie Santana- Low Frequencies
  20. what kind of amp do u have or if your online now just IM me "Enigma Mix 021"
  21. With the CD-Mix 2 you cannot listen to the track you want to play while you effect it before you mix it in. The CD-Mix 2 isn't designed to do that. There are 2 ways of doing that. The first is you would need seperate componant's (seperate mixer, turn-tables, cd players), and go out of the cd player, into the kaoss pad, then into your mixer, but then you would only be able to efffect one source. The other way (the way I did it) is to buy the Rane MP44 and it has a feature called "Flex FX" and with that you can assign your effects processor to any channel on your mixer....but don't get me wrong it wasn't a cheap purchase.
  22. Thats the problem with powered speakers, I always keep a 3rd in my truck just in case that happends (which it has i wont lie) but whenever i have used 4 or more i've never had one go out. If you use the mackie bins they have a high-pass out which will cut the bass to the tops so they almost never over heat (the tops have a low-cut option in them as well) Yes you can use a powered speker with a passive amp as long as the amp has "Through" outputs on them. A through output is something that just sends the same signal thats coming out of your mixer out to another source. So you would go out of your mixer, into your amp, (through) out of your amp into the powered tops
  23. Mackie SRM450's all the way. I've been using them for about 4 years (mobile DJ).....get 2 SWA1801's and 4 SRM450's and you can cover upto like 700 people in a room for under $5000 (that's if you need that much)
