Nice booking - except for the fact JP & Serge Devant are playing in CT the same night. Perfect example of what happens in the new haven club scene. People try TOO HARD to compete with other clubs then everyone suffers. I'm sure all 3 venues will do OK but still....there are only so many dance heads in ct !!!

Great music!!! It seemed he went so long between vocals that when he played them the crowd went nuts !!! I was there just 4 a.m. - 8a.m. had to drive back to ct so wanted to get home in one piece. I dont know though by the time I left it was 90% guys with shirts off - I was warned though so wasn't too suprised.

If your not with hot girls - money talks and bullshit walks !!! I slipped someone a little green @ Crbr and got in real quick. but that was my own fault somebody shouldve paid me to go in there !!!! don't know if it works like that at other places though

Last time jp played at Alchemy he ripped it!!! Idk I dont sit and judge really - if its hot its hot. There were a couple weird mixes and a couple extra long loops, but I was on the dance floor till like 4a.m. & I never dance.

Really though -i ts funny how everyone is so into the "upscale" thing lately. 5 years ago all hartford had was smelly factories with spraypaint on the walls and a dj booth and people loved it. I prob wouldve been a little disapointed if I was expecting a yacht and boarded a dinner cruise but hey whats better than listening to nice beats cruisin down the ct river. I'm sure the event was fine. Maybe shouldnt have been hyped as so upscale then people wouldnt have been disapointed. Next time let em know it is what it is.

U must've been goin to the wrong parties. Then again if u look at everything with a critical eye you'll never have a good time unless you're in NY,Miami or Vegas payin $20 a drink. What bothers me is the fact that resident djs like myself who have been at a club for years get paid crumbs compared to somebody that comes in for one night and pulls only an extra couple hundred people. Then again I work at a smaller club in ct which probably operates alot different from those nyc mega-clubs. That shit still doesnt seem right to me !!!
