I really don't know a ton about techno/house/electronica/etc but I am really really starting to love it. If you could list more like these, or classic songs/anthems/really popular songs that bring the club down I'd appreciate it. Or point me to a website or thread I like stuff with good beats + vocals that get you pumped/make you want to dance. Sounds awesome!! Where'd you eat? Any stories? what were the ratios of guys:girls in the clubs? where'd you stay?

One of my older friends was telling me how old vegas was a lot better than how vegas is now. He basically said old vegas was better b/c: less strict (could get away with a lot more) less expensive but the main difference was: the people. He says a lot of people now a days go there b/c the concept of "vegas" has gotten so popular. A place to really let it all out and be wild... which is attracting people who don't have the guts to live out crazy adventures in whatever town their from so they come to vegas in hopes of changing that but all they do is contribute to the high prices, take up space, crowd out the fun in attempts to live out their totally overblown fantasies of "vegas." Thoughts on this? I've been there twice since March and I'm only 22... and while I did see a lot of people like this, i still had a great time b/c I am not one of those people who just likes to sit on the sidelines. I'd rather go try something and fail than to wonder "what if." The 2nd trip I did notice those kinds of people a lot more but it didn't really bother me. Thoughts? Experiences? Just bored

so true!! Just approach girls during the day... they are everywhere in Vegas, go preparty with them and go to the club with them (if they are hot enough ). If you are rolling VIP at a hot spot very few girls would turn you down based on that alone... I went with girls to clubs I met during the day 2/4 nights I was there last month and I had nothing (we would just go there early and wait 10-40 mins in line).

I also noticed they weren't that big when i was there I talked with a few bouncers there as I was curious how they got their jobs had this exchange with one of the body english door guys: me- howd you get your job man? him- I worked valet here (hard rock) and one day I was shooting the shit with one of the bouncers and a week later he came back and offered me a job. me- so how do you like it? him-... let me put it this way... I work 3 nights a week and i party like a fucking rockstar ended up seeing him next tues night VIP pure with like 3 smoking hot girls and he told me that it was just a so so night... LOL the other bouncers were the same... they got the jobs through networking I'm pretty sure they get tipped A LOT... saw a guy try to tip the BE dude 40 just to let him through and he said "your going to have to do better than that" on wed i met a couple who said they had to pay 120 for both of them to get in (skipped the line)

just curious how do you get into the tiesto rehab/empire events? tickets? if so how much or do u just get in like 3 hrs early? if u can get vip for it do the rates go up? (sry for all the questions, I don't know much about vegas) thanks!

son of a bitch, tiesto @ rehab would be UNREAL just curious, how do you guys find about about special events/guest DJs at clubs? is there a website for this? I really want to hit a club like Pure or BE with tiesto/armin/etc
