crobar is just bringing in different talent, they are trying to mix things up rather than have the same artists there month after month. i dont know the september lineup other than armin van burrin but im sure its going to be hot. besides i didnt see any club around nyc that couldve touched there may,june,july lineups.
and the hip hop on the main floor does suck it makes the night drag on, i dont see it happening much longer. at least i pray they get that trash off there awesome sound system.

All i got to say is Armin Van Burren has PVD is his rear view mirrors.... I really dont see this guy stoping for anything, i think he is going to be moving up them fake ass charts from the #3 spot to #1.

yeah i have to agree, he was awesome under the bridge.it blew away paul's roseland set. butt pvd's roxy set last november was one of the best i've heard, EVER!

i would say both of them had sucked a dick atleast once in there dj career. If not completely sucked it, nibbled or licked the head of one.

i been to amsterdam many times, i recommend the golden tulip for hotels, its right in dam square which is 2 blocks from the red light district. it is a little pricey but you cant beat its location.
as for coffee shops
1. dampkring-some of best hash and buds in the whole city
2. grey area-very small but the weed will kick your ass
3.greaenhouse-weed is not the best but you can relax outside by the canal drinking heineken and smoking weed you bought at better coffee shops
4.grasshopper-pretty much a tourist trap like the greenhouse but its cool to chill and drink in
must see spots
1.red light district-its fucking awesome
2.mazzo- one hell of a nightclub
3.van goh museum-nothing beats looking at art pie eyed
4.anne frank house- a history lesson
5.canal boat ride-this way you can see the amazing architecture in this great city. thank god it was not destroyed as most of the rest of europe was during wwII.

SF was by far the best club I have ever been to in my life. My favorite sets of music were played there, the best vibe I have ever been a part of, and just a dark/crazy place. Not every time I went was great by any means, there were plenty of off nights as well BUT when JP was on, there was no dj or club that could touch him in his prime imo.
People can spin it anyway they want. It was insane.
Have to disagree, the limelight in the early 90's and twilo in the latter 90's blew away soundfactory. Sure the factory had its nights but they were few and far between, and most those parties were all drug drivin (dont get me wrong limelight and twilo were loaded to the tee with drugs but people there seemed more head strong and were there for the music not just the drugs) If anyone has ever been to twilo on an Ultimate base night you know those were the best parties in the city hands down. As for JP he is just a dj with alot of good records, no offense to all his hardcore fans but listen to his live sets not fucked up on drugs and you will see his mixing skill are sub par at best.

liberty was one of the best parties ever, neil landstrum,bones,adam x,scott henry,ian pooley, and DEEP DISH all threw down some of the bests sets i have ever heard at one party. and the best thing was the security didnt give too shits about us firing up joints/blunts. man i miss those days.

boo parties were always a blast. its great to have so many choices. hardcore,house,techno,dnb,trance. you name it they had it. and SoE ALWAYS threw a top notch party(even though they could never touch the monkey parties intensity) with some of the sickest dj's in the scene at the time. i am looking foward to hearing more of this.

pretty sure this was 21 and up. mangled crowd regaurdless
first time ive seen jp and i have to say he was pretty good. very fun night
only thing that bothered me is them throwing those vote for jp cards at me.

not sure many here will aprreciate as they seem to forget some of the real pioneers of the nyc edm scene. Lenny,frankie,adam,scott,danny,micro and josh. All godfathers of the east coast scene. At least to me.

i hear ya there man, screw driving to philly for a party. too bad they cant get webster hall or the roseland for that party. but i guess the red tape is too thick in the city now a days.
