  1. agreed when i 1st started listening to house(93) i used to hate digweed...i used to think he was so boring too....it took me about 4-5 years to actaully realize how amazing of a dj he is, how mature and intricate his music is, etc etc he's the best mixer and puts down the most incredible track selection...it's only after many years of fine tuning your ear and listening to so much garbage and good music does one realize this...most people dont have the ear and dont have the patience to listen for a set to build up..he is far superior than many djs out there, and it's a shame that people don't see this

listen to his kiss 100 sets this year, they are so slamming and far from boring(esp the one from last week), and still incorporate some sort of set structure eventhough an hour long...it's not pots and pans and slamming trance/house the entire time..it takes u on a journey

centro july 4th was one of the best sets

dj vibe is on digweed's kiss set this week...should be an amazing show as both are masters at what they do

yeah the mix sets on kiss 100 are off the hook, i love the brisban @ family set, a little short (60 min) but it is a beautiful journey from begining to end.

  2. What a boring nite musically!!!!!!! Dropped a few good tracks here and there. officailly of my list of dj's to see. Last time i saw him was at centro -fly on july 4th and his music sucked that nite also. Should of gone to vibe instead....oh well.

to each his own, i didnt think it was boring at all, a little on the light side but it picked up as the night went on. maybe i was still high from just gettin back from amsterdam a few days before lol

  3. I wanst there, but I know Digweed, and he is very Melodic, Plays more meloides them beats, you really have to be a real house head to like Diggers. He is nuttin like Boris, VC, JP, or any of the guys who spin in the city. Its a different sound, your have to be a mature house head to love it.

very well said ray ray ^^

  4. Digweed is real good. But I perfer Sasha's ridiculous beats over his Melodic bombs any day! I like the melodic stuff, but it just dont do for me what the beat, beat, beat, boom does.

i hear ya man Sasha is fucking sick behind the decks, I just like the way digweed can just rip the shit outa a sound system with his hard, evil bass.

and last night he did just that, awesome/fun night. I know most of cp were all about dj vibe this weekend but alot of you truly missed one hell of a set.

  5. well me and my buddy were at the limelight in 93 or 94 for a hardcore party.(lenny dee, scott forbush, nicky fingers, delta nine, rob gee ect i think the party was called ballistic)this was my first time at the limelight so i did'nt really know what to expect, we usually went to underground parties or to the palladium.

well we were upstars on the balcony burning some herb when he pokes me on my shoulder. he then starts laughing and tells me to turn around. I turn around to see two couples going at it lmfao. one guy was banging this girl doggie style while the other girl was riding some cock like a champ. there have been many other experiences some of which i participated in but that was my first.

  6. Plastikman is his production alias, i believe that was more minimal than "Hawtin" but maybe not so much anymore.

Has anyone ever seen him perform as Plastikman?

yeah back in da day, and he was always f'in incredible.

    he is truly great either as hawtin or plastikman. this is a must for the teck heads out there, i know im not goin to miss this^^ even though danny is spinnin same night ; ;

  7. last rave for me was boo6 in 02..mad kids OD'd and shit..it was gr8...stabbing ravers in the face is fun..watching them OD on randalls island is TEH FUNNEH

Iwas at that party lol, I got smashed in the 21 and over alcohol area ^^. Then jammed out to some sandra collins and christopher lawerence.

  8. First time I fell in love with house music was at a rave called voyager which was inside the brooklyn bridge. Derrick Carter and Armand van Helden made me dance for the first time. Incredible night I will never forget, the "witchdoctor". A few mix tapes that really brought my attention to house music were by steve loria, louie vega, bad boy bill and scott henry who I think is the most underrated DJ in the world. If you ever go to dc check out him and feelgood they are gods down there.

  9. 0o0o0o damn in those pics i saw at least 30 middle life crisis, 20 over the hills, and like 35 baby mommas that need to be home with there kids not in some club shakeing there asss, and one wierd looking dude that was rocking leather gloves like MJ....that place is REALLY A SHELTER a fcuking HOMELESS SHELTER !!!!!!!!! I WOULD NEVER GO THERE

Blah blah blah... this must be coming from a panzy jersey boy. who cares how the fuck old you are. grow the fuck up loser. Its about the vibe and music, not about looks or age.
