I hear ya, and im sorry, but what is goin on is most of Asians are ruining it for you good ones. Everyone who goes clubbin knows there is gonna be at least 25-50 asians in the club, fucked up on god knows what, bumping into people, starting fights, and passing out on the dancefloor. Not to mention they are the rudest people I have ever seen, theyll just try to run right threw you without even tryin to say excuse me, or anything. I know this happens to all other races too, but in the asian race happens all the time. Im not tryin to be a dick, and im know there are good ones out there man, but in all honestly, 75% of the Asian population at clubs are out of line, all fucked up, and they have no idea what there doing. Can you honeslty blame Crobar for trying to nip a hugh problem in the butt. I am glad someone is actully doing something about it.
I have to agree with rayray, im very glad crobar is doing this. No offense to asians but they can make for some very bad vibes when they are all fucked up. The stricter the door the better the party inside ^^.

both are very good but i have to say i like crobar better, they just keep bringing in some of my fav dj's (sander,danny t,carl cox,sasha,digweed, ect. ect.)week in and week out. i just saw there lineup for june and now i have to say they are hands down the best club in nyc at the moment. if they could just get carl cox as a monthly resident it would be heaven.

wow looks like crobar is goin to get a couple grand outa me that month. I so cant wait to hear digweed again. I thought he spun the best set of 2005 at crobar last year (my opinion). Mad props to crobar for bringing in top notch talent week after week, but how about a danny t v/s carl cox /drools that would be so f'in sick.

very true. I got into the scene around 95, so i did miss the storm rave ear. But it doesnt get anymore underground then the "rave in the cave" in upstate ny. Perpetual Rhythem i believe it was called, held back in 97.
The rave in the cave was sooo awesome. I was there too. Frankie Bones thought he was batman that night lol. Nigel Richards and T-1000 were great as usual as was the vibe. Unfortunally some dumbass punks set someones house on fire that morning and a few morons went spelunking and fell in a hole and had to be rescued. All in all a night i'll never forget.

God damn it, Digweed tore it up last year at crobar and I so wanted to see him this year BUT its 18+ WTF.... Why would they pull shit like this they would fill the club anyways if it was 21+ and Screw VIP why pay that kinda money when ya spend the night on da dancefloor anywayz, just a waste of cash unless you like being a couch potatoe.

Well the first raves i went to or knew about(Storm) were in abandoned warehouses/factories in brooklyn and queens around 1989 and they were the sickest parties ever(i still have fliers to some of these parties lmfao). With dj's like sven vath,dj dag,frankie bones,dj hell,jimmy crash,lenny dee,josh wink,richie hawtin blowin shit up. Very underground as you could get away with anything back then(smokin da herb^^). Things were great until about 94 when the firemarshalls couldnt be bought out anymore or maybe it was mayor gulliani just being a dick. Anyways all the parties were gettin shut down. Then it all went commercial and candy. Now its a dead scene.

I have to agree pvd was off that night, I honestly thought jerry's set was better (never thought i would ever say that lol). It did get pretty slammin around 5 or so but overall he was no where near the top of his game and ive seen paul everywhere from vandit to twilo. As for all the fucked up asians, I can understand takin some x and enjoying a show but they get carried away.(i only drink as i am getin to old(30) to be popin pills) There eyes are pinned back in there head and they look like a bunch of pissed off zombies from dawn of the dead. This is the shit that ruins the scene as do the candy ass raver punks with glow sticks and pacifiers, come on grow up look at yourselves in the mirror. Do you like what you see? All in all the sound was good, the venue was great and the music was ok. Nice job Made, see you all under the brooklyn bridge.

I was at the roxy show back in da fall and pvd was f'in incredible. So as you can imagine I've been eagerly awaiting this event. It will be good to party in the roseland again, I used to love the raves there, well at least the brooklyn zoo and uptown underground parties (monkey themed events). Anyways pvd is goin to blow shit up cant wait.
