  1. Continuation: http://www.gqmagazine.co.uk/Daily_News/default.aspx?sid=52296 Surprise news: men are going off sex Traditionally it is wives who offer up such excuses as, “Not tonight dear, I’ve got a headacheâ€. But now it seems that their husbands are going off sex, according to Relate, the UK’s largest body of relationship counsellors, which has reported a 40 per cent rise in sex-shy male clients. “Men used to come to us with impotence – now known as erectile insufficiency – but Viagra has sorted some of that problem,†Peter Bell, Relate’s head of practice, told the Observer. “What we have is a lot of men who say, as women did in the Fifties: ‘I can have sex, but I don’t want to. It’s not rewarding.’†Bell relates that unfortunate sufferers tend to be married and in their thirties, forties or fifties: “It counts as a psychosexual dysfunction, rather than just a relationship problem, because these men haven’t gone off their partner, but off sex altogether.â€
  2. No sex, dear, I'm British...... Glad I'm American... http://men.style.com/news/blog/2008/05/no-sex-dear-im.html English blokes are turning down sex in record numbers, reports the Guardian. Relationship counseling firm Relate has seen a 40 percent increase in "sex-shy male clients," with stress believed to be the leading cause. (Like everyone, it seems, Britons have been working longer hours in recent years.) But don't feel too bad—as one hapless gent puts it, "I'm baffled by my lack of interest, but not particularly unhappy." His wife apparently had no comment. [via GQ UK] PAUL L. 6. Didn't expect the movie to be good, but was very impressed... Gwyneth Paltrow is an intelligent hottie in the film & Leslie Bibb the newscaster girl Robert Downey Jr banged HOT, HOT, HOT..... http://ironmanmovie.marvel.com/ Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr The suit is cool, but IRON MAN belongs to Robert Downey, Jr.: His effortlessly nuanced performance as Tony Stark, a heedless, billionaire playboy arms manufacturer cast into a brutal crucible that forces a top-to-bottom reassessment of his life so far, is a dark delight that combines pop-culture wit and genuine emotional depth. Brilliant, hedonistic industrialist Tony Stark (Downey) inherited a clutch of companies invested in everything from medical research to alternative energy, but the pulsing heart of Stark Industries is weapons: The bigger and more destructive the better. Stark's sound-bite patriotism lies over a genuine, if not deeply considered, belief that Stark munitions are making the world safe for his fellow Americans, a position he's compelled to rethink after being wounded and taken hostage by Afghan terrorists during a mega-missile demo/photo op. Held in a mountain camp bristling with Stark products and tethered to a primitive device buried in his chest -- the only thing standing between his heart and stealthy shards of shrapnel lurking in his flesh – Stark is ordered to build his captors their very own super WMD. He instead forges an iron robo-suit and escapes; his first act back in the US is to make the startling announcement that Stark Industries is out of the weapons business until further notice. While Stark devotes himself to constructing an improved version of the suit that saved his life, rumors that he's suffering post-traumatic stress syndrome threaten to destabilize Stark Industries. The three people closest to him – loyal assistant Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow); friend and military liaison James "Rhodey" Rhodes (Terrence Howard); and longtime right-hand Obadiah Stane (Jeff Bridges) – react in very different ways, both before and after they discover exactly what he's been working on and what he plans to do with it. Downey, 42, gets under the skin of a character whose devil-may-care arrogance, born of lifelong privilege, is viciously ripped away, an experience that makes a better man of him, but not a different one. He's still cocky, self-centered and superficially imperious, but he knows he's not untouchable, which has as much to do with being obliged to ask Pepper to plunge her hand into the perpetually open hole in his chest and adjust the device keeping him alive as it does his newly awakened conscience. His performance grounds the film's fantastic trappings -- from the sleek Iron Man armor to Pepper's ability to sprint in strappy, sky-high heels – in emotional reality. --Maitland McDonagh http://www.tvguide.com/movies/iron-man/review/292484

  14. Would you do it? Many have... Enjoy http://www.thesite.org/sexandrelationships/singles/onthepull/sexinclubtoilets Sex in club toilets You've met someone in a club and your heartbeat's racing. But before you start copulating in the conveniences, read on. Protect yourself Alcohol and drugs can screw with your functions. Don't put yourself at risk - always use a condom, especially if you're having it off with a stranger. You don't know where they've been and chances are there won't be time for them to tell you, so play safe. Although nobody has the right to do anything sexual to you without your consent, if you're getting completely off your head on drink and drugs on a regular basis, you could be making yourself vulnerable. It's easy to forget about safer sex or even general personal safety if your judgement is seriously impaired. Some people just need to cut down a little, but for others it's a complex issue that relates to their self-esteem. On a similar note, although drug-related sexual assaults are rare, it's worth staying alert and looking out for yourself and your friends. Audience - applause or arrest? It may be a turn-on getting steamy in a public place, but getting caught in a compromising position is not nearly as thrilling in real life when the bouncers become an active audience. While they are more likely to tell you to cover up and move on, they could get the police involved. In fact, the Sexual Offenses Bill makes it an offense to commit any sexual acts (not just intercourse but any sexual touching of other parts of the body) in a public lavatory if the person intentionally engages in a sexual activity. The person could be liable to imprisonment of up to six months, or a fine. The bill also dissolved the offenses of cottaging (cruising for gay sex in public toilets), so now everyone is bound by the same laws regardless of sexuality. Tempting as it may be to get it on in trains, planes, parks and other public places, you could be prosecuted for 'outraging public decency'. Broadly speaking, a person commits such an offense when exposing themselves or engaging in a sexual act while another person is present and likely to be offended or alarmed. So be warned, if you're overcome by passion, and it can't wait until you get home, make sure no-one else is watching! In theory, even going topless on the beach can expose you to complaints, and not just in cases where it's banned by the local authority. If the police were brought in, however, the decision to prosecute would depend upon the circumstances behind the alleged offence and their interpretation of the law.

  18. At the Tribeca Film Festival The Universe of Keith Haring http://www.tribecafilmfestival.org/filmguide/Universe_of_Keith_Haring.html [uNIVE] | 2007 | 90 min | Feature Documentary Directed by: Christina Clausen U.S. Premiere Interests: *NYcomp*, Art/Literature, Biography, Documentary, Female Directors, LGBT, New York Moods: 6 Biographical, Brainy, Eccentric, Iconic, Joyful, Playful Cast & Credits Director: Christina Clausen Principal Cast: The Haring Family, Kenny Scharf, Tony Shafrazi, Yoko Ono, Kermit Oswald, Julia Gruen Producers: Eric Ellena, Ian Ayres Editor: Silvia Giuletti Soundtrack: Angelo Talocci Theme Song: Junior Vasquez Scientific Consultant: Gianni Mercurio Program Notes The creator of some of the most popular, enduring images of late 20th-century art, Keith Haring was also an iconic figure of the downtown New York scene in the '80s. Christina Clausen's documentary offers an affectionate, deeply personal glimpse into Haring's life, from his early years growing up in a small, conservative Pennsylvania town to his heyday as a world-renowned artist, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Madonna, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Andy Warhol. Haring's family and childhood friends offer anecdotes about the artist's early years, when he basked in '60s pop culture and developed a penchant for drawing, but it is the recollections of the '70's and '80s New York art scene that form that heart and soul of this documentary. Combining music of the era, photo stills, and audio excerpts from interviews conducted with Haring himself, Clausen brings the sights and sounds of these decades vividly to life. Yoko Ono, Junior Vasquez, David LaChappelle, and gallery owner Tony Shafrazi are among those who offer insight into the significance of Haring's work as well as their personal memories of their friendship with him. The film also examines Haring's oft-repeated maxim that "art is for everyone," his then-controversial decision to open Pop Shop (a store in SoHo selling merchandise with Haring's images on it), and his openness about his AIDS diagnosis at time when few were willing to discuss the disease publicly. The Universe of Keith Haring does not, however, dwell on Haring's untimely death at the age of 31-rather, it celebrates the spirit of his life and his art, which continue to have a lasting influence. 22. or even these Fire Island peeps... My Bridal Party on Fire Island: http://www.shellsbyhand.com/gallery.shtml Here's a little info and history about me. I grew up on Long Island in the bayside village of Brightwaters, NY. I spent many a summer on nearby beautiful Fire Island finding little treasures on the beach, which I considered precious even then. It wasn't until I went to Costa Rica five years ago with my then boyfriend, now husband, that I began really experimenting with shells and design. While he surfed, I beach-combed and came across the tiniest prettiest pink shell I had ever seen. My "shell rose" necklace was created for the first time a few weeks later. I have been back on Long Island for a few years now, and my fingers can't work fast enough to create all of the ideas I have swirling around. I hope you enjoy looking at some of the ones that have come to fruition.
  23. I did a Google search, Like these Fire Island partiers who look older than Jr? Since I'm straight I don't get it.
