I'll usually trust someone in the beginning, but not get in too deep with someone unless they've earned my trust with something big, like helping me out when im in need or just being there.I've been hurt in the past by ingrates, but that doesn't mean i will never trust again. I can be really paranoid in the beginning, a lot of doubt, insecurity....just because I've been through really bad ones, but in the end, without taking a risk and trusting that person you ultimately have nothing..... marcid21 Posted June 11 Report Share Posted June 11 I normally only give an inch or two to friends and people that come in and out of my life.....giving them the whole mile is way too much room for them to mess up.After time, and some experiences with individuals, you get to know them and you develop a sense in which you could either trust them completely, or give up on them entirely.....once a trust is broken, I think it is possible to get it back.
