djmikebugout Posted August 16 Report Share Posted August 16 Crowd was awesome, atmosphere was great, nice job by thorin and the crew on the party--but my review will focus mostly on the man--SUPERCHUMBOOOOOOOOOstarted out kinda dark and I wasnt sure how he was gonna take it--but then he busts out Fantasy/reality, which really got the crowd up--He then followed for the next 2 hours with some SLAMMMIN TRIBAL BEATTTTTSSS...Highlights were most definitely-Rivera's Bass Generator with the shakedown acapella, the way he looped the acc over certain parts had me jumpinand of course as some people mentioned already-IRRREESSSITTAAABLLLEEEE---sicknessDark Beat was...Umm...Dark? It def didnt warrent all the fanfare that saleen gave it but its def a dope track....Nice seeing madd CP heads there...Also nice chatting with Richie Santana and Denny Tsettos. This party is the fucking best party I've found YET in the city in a looooong time!!All I have to say to whoever has not checked it out yet is: ARE YOU OUTTA YOUR FUCKING MINDS?! GET THE FUCK OVER THERE NEXT WEEK!! :DJohn Michaels had a lovely opening set.. very good job hun, thanks for the CD.. I need something other than Hybrid to listen to!! Tom Stephan came on around 1:15ish and started off slower then built that shit up like a good DJ does!! Everyone's talking about Irresistable.. that's cause it's a fucking HOT track.. a must hear.. a must have!!Good seeing everyone, I'm not even gonna bother naming people because it's getting too confusing now being on like 5 different boards.. there are people on several boards, and it's getting too hard to remember that one person who is mainly on another board is also on this board so I have to remember to shout them out too.. etc.. ughh.. you get the picture..So shouts to EVERYONE I saw last nite!! I was a lil drunk by later in the nite, pre-gamed at Leps, had a nice buzz going before I even got to Centro.Now here's the thing.. I want everyone to come out next week, looking their best. I want everyone out there for my birthday celebration next Thursday at Centro Fly.. Low End Specialists doing a set.. and Jody from Way Out West doing a set.. it will be an absolutely INSANE nite musically, you will NOT wanna miss it!! Plus I want everyone to come celebrate with me. Aly -- I'm so glad I finally got to meet you a couple weeks ago before you went back to DC.. have a safe trip there, and keep in touch!! We'll miss you!!Ohh.. one last thing.. thanks Thorin and Chris for taking care of me, you guys are the best!! They agree that if Centro Fly or Vinyl was in the space Exit holds, it would be by far the best club. I cant wait till Picotto is at Arc. Lets see if there's an inch to move. ARC is way to small for Picotto. Were you there when It was Tenaglia verse Howell's. I was, i couldn't move in there. The place is to small to hold all these people.
