Guest jroo
yes or no? do you consider yourself to be a depressed person? on any level. life, job, home, anything.
weyes
do you mean in general or due to a particular situation or problem?

malanee
This isn't a yes or no question for me. I have blue periods now and again and always have since I was a teenager. But, overall I think I'm a positive person and I feel very blessed in my life. Now when I feel a blue period coming on, I seek help (therapy), exercise, journal, talk to friends and family. The key is to keep yourself from feeling isolated and to hit the depression head on with any and every tool you have. You gotta reach for joy in your life with both hands, you know? merkie
I am generally a happy go lucky type of person. I can usually see the bright side of a bad situation. I am not saying that I am miss sunshine all of the time, but generally I try to keep positive. I have realized that things usually end up working out in the end so there is no point in getting down and upset.
lobster1981
I think every person is depressed some times, but like VIC said we should be grateful that we have a roof over our heads.and if you are depressed just listen to some music and you will be OK
pluryou
I find when I'm by myself I get to thinking to much and bring myself down. Its crazy because I am like the happiest person. I really have a lot to be happy about and I am. Everyone has their up's and down's. We all just have to deal with it.

weyes
i would think that a good deal of both the nocturnal (and i don't mean "people who like to go to parties") and ecstasy-using populations (and there are many people who belong to both ) are depressed. Guest jroo
i feel ya man. i remember when i used to be out driving to and from work going over 100 mph and not caring. and being on twisty roads with tons of trees on each side thinking that i could get my speed up really high and just not turn the wheel. but i might live through that shit and that would really suck. if i go, i want it to be jumping out of a plane 20,000 feet up, with a parachute on. so if i change my mind i can pull it. but i feel a lot better than that now.
