Man Killed by Metro Train

Incident Causes Red Line Delays

A man died this morning when he jumped onto the tracks at Washington’s Union Station.

The incident happened shortly after 8 a.m. when an unidentified man jumped onto the tracks and was hit and killed by a train bound for Shady Grove.

Union Station remains open while the investigation continues but Metro is experience delays of up to 20 minutes up and down the Red Line.

i have no sympathy. if they're gonna act that inconsiderate and selfish toward not only the train driver but the thousands of people who have places to be, then they really should do society a favor and DIE.
