The word soccer comes from the shortening and alteration of Association Football, when the sport became official way back before 1900. Anyway, the word became popular in the US since another word was needed to distinguish between the sport played with the feet and the other which is commonly known as football here in the US.

Now it's rumored that Beckham is transfering to Barcelona for 49 million big ones! Yet, Beckham's old man stated that his son is staying at Man U regardless of which club wants his services. Also, Real Madrid just announced that they want to sign Ronaldinho from PSG only after Man U. declared the same statement yesterday. But...PSG put out a statement that Ronaldinho is not for sale! WTF!?!?

I'm surprised people here recognize the characters. I used to wake up really early on sunday mornings to watch the show. Before I outgrew them, the whole cast went to my hometown to do show in the cheap ass "convention center" (indoor basketball gym). Anyway, all the characters were there singing and dancing in front of thousands of kids. After their show they let the public approach them for autographs and what not, but it got out of control. I remember Mimoso, the cute mouse, punching little kids because the crazy kids were pulling his ears and tail.

He's supposed to be a bumble bee like the one on my avatar. The Bumble Bee Guy on The Simpsons is based on this actual dude dressed in bumble bee suit. Mexican TV aired a childern's program a few years back and this bee was one of the many characters in the show. The actual name of the character was Pistachon Zig Zag. By the way there's no mascots in soccer

for lunch. The place was closed cuz supposedly somebody committed suicide in the mall. According to a waitress at Ruby Tuesdays this person jumped from the balcony onto the food court down below. It's gonna be freaky trying to have lunch there from now on.
