danwilson
I just have a question. Suppose someone opens a Club in NYC. There opening a few this fall. Can someone use the name Twilo. Does anyone have the rights to that name. Or the same thing with the Palladium, Limelight and the Tunnel. Since all these clubs closed and no one is using these names. I wonder who owns the rights to those names. I cant believe how stupid John blair is. Why did he change the name from the Limelight to Escapes. DaVe
2 different people have trademarks on Twilo for different uses -- one for music and one for nightclubs. Anyone using that name would undoubtedly be sued.http://tess.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=iahhng.3.1Word Mark TWILO Goods and Services IC 009. US 021 023 026 036 038. danwilson
Isn't there a club in Westchester or Rocklyn County called the Palladium. I'm not sure if its still open. But I remember on the radio last year, they talked about it.

If you see a name with the ® next to it, that means its completely registered on the federal level. If you dont register on a federal level it is possible for another business in another county or state to do similar business as the same name. (which might explain a Palladium in NYC and Rockland)reference links:http://www.dos.state.ny.us/http://www.uspto.gov/http://www.ahbbo.com/dbatmcom.html

This club in Rockland county has taken the name, the Palladium and now its Arena, taking that name when Junior Vasquez was the DJ at the Palladium. Next there gonna call there club, Club USA.
