mugwump Posted October 4 Report Share Posted October 4 For me scary movies fall into twocategories: "SPOOF" or "I'M GONNA PISS MYSELF"Unfortunately the latter is my favoritebut comes rare these days..So I'm home and cuddle up tothe Rocco and I'm thinking of digging through my video collection andpicking me out a couple HALLOWEEN flicksNothing like red wine..popcorn, a cuddling stinky dog on your lap and SCARY MOVIESon a chilly October eve...************HERE'S MY TOP TEN HALLOWEENFLICK PICKS:*Poltergeist I (The pool sceneand the Clown doll under the bed gave me nightmaresfor years to come..as well as a severe clown dollphobia)*CREEP SHOW I..(Classic Creepy fun....)*Twilight zone the movie("Wanna see something really scary?"Though not entirely Halloween like it'sstill a fun mind fuck..The cartoon obsessedboy with super powers is great..and thething on the wing of the plane had me paranoidto fly for most of my youth)*EVIL DEAD II..(Sam Raimie at his best..Gore fest galore...)*NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD("They are coming to get you Barbara"can't go one Halloween without watching this gem.)*HALLOWEEN I(Mike Myers is still the scariest outof all the zombie serial killers)*THE EXCORCIST..(Though Rocco refuses to watch it...Let the head twirling and guacamole spewingcommence baby!)*Beetlejuice(yea I know..It's cute..but also a yearly required Halloween viewingfor me)*The Crow I..(Gotharama. Kick ass sound track andHalloween written all over it! Classic!)*The lady in white...(This is like "A Christmas story" ofHalloween flicks for me...a sweetand spooky film that moved me as a childand a great Classic ghost story******HOW ABOUT YOU?
