Fuck off --> I'm definitely NOT a bum and I've fucking worn plenty of UFOs.

i used to love that club with all my heart. i promoted imagine fridays for over a year, i constantly pushed my list, constantly made people go...

i think it was my friends and everyone i knew in there that made it so fun...

the music, albeit everyone says its cheesy, and yes i think its cheesy now, but back then, it was just SO FUN to go there...

i think the turning point had to have been before it closed for renovations...i didn't go to the closing party, but for those of you who remember, the power went out and they didn't let people in til about 130 - 2.

when it reopened, it just wasn't the same vibe, it pretty much sucked. then they brought in diff. dj's, which was good and bad in a sense...i quit promoting after judge jules, i couldn't take getting dicked for money, and i just wasn't having fun anymore.

oh well, i moved on :) hahaha...

I lost faith in that place a long time ago..........I'm not even gonna get into it

And about security......someone mentioned that they had to take their shoes off at the door........I had to take off MY SOCKS, and wearing black athletic socks tends to leave some lint...how fucking embarassing. Forget about when they frisk you, some perv had the gaul to stick his damn hand in my butt crack, needless to say that ruined my night.

what i find really gross is that for the guards that DO wear gloves, they don't change them after every person!!! EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

also, even if they got rid of draper, it would still suck, draper isn't the one making the club suck entirely, it's a lot of things

The Saturday party was really popular. I went like 6 times in 2000. I went when Boris and Eddie Baez were the DJs. Denny Tsettos was also the DJ there.

These parties I belive were the most fun.......... all done up, extravegetly............. I couldnt wait to get inside, find our spot and let the games begin....... Everyone, was super nice including bartenders and security. Now a days your lucjy if u get a smile after paying $10 a drink and a $2 tip..........Follow

I belive it's down fall was GREED.............

I also belive that a lot of promotors were screwed big time, and that def. helped................

Amen to that!!!! That's one of the reasons I stopped promoting it. Mostly b/c of the reasons people have already mentioned but not getting paid every week was a big one for me. it's frustrating when you know you have people in the club who mentioned your list to get reduced and then when you go to get paid they show you some piece of paper and tell you no one mentioned it

Too shady for me........

I feel pretty much the same way... Exit was a hot spot for a few months. The first six or so months of existance were a damn good time. The vibe was good!!! People were friendly and then what happened? The staff started to blow cows and there heads grew to size of hot air baloons as far as DJ's there were a few nights when they had good DJ's. Eddie Baez, Boris and Chestnutz were hit or miss, and when they weren't on Exit SUCKED!!!! The last time I was at exit was for Tiesto in December of 01, Great Music Vibe was OK.... Holy Shit, I felt like I was in Hong Kong!!! No offense to my fellow asian partygoers.... a complete asian invasion... ARC is definately the hot spot for talent!!! Tiesto at the Roxy will be off the hook... Peace!!:hat:

The last really great night at Exit was on 4/26 this year for Draper's return. Might be even the best night of Exit for me ever. It was almost like old times that night.

No shit!! I went that nite wiht my girl and a bunch of her friends...the amount of energy in that room when draper came on was insane!!!!!!!!

I've been there a couple times since, and probably will be back later this month cause a bunch of friends are going again- and i've had good and bad times. For the most part tho, it really all depends on who you bring with you to hang with how your night's going to go...

I would normally agree with you, however, the vibe, security, bouncers, Door men, all make it seemingly impossible. I am speaking from past experiences. Even with your "crew" the place just doesn't have it anymore..................
