Not really been out that much this year, but these are mine.

1. Armin Van Buuren (:aright: everytime)

2. John 'OO' Flemming

3. Matt Hardwick (watch him ;) )

4. Mauro Picotto (started to tire of him after his 2 6hr sets early in the year, but he blew my mind at Global Gathering)

5. Not really seen anyone else more than once to comment on wether they were best of the year, but special mentions to Rank1 & Scott Bond for a couple of stand out sets.

I am judging this by all factors not just skill or music. Crowd, energy, presence, etc.

JP - Although you guys probably wont count that

Deep Dish

Oakenfold at CPI (and i dont even like Oakenfold)

Picotto - Just amazing tech with a trancy fee

and my last is Richie Hawtin tied with Rauhofer.

I feel that this year New York Clubs fell to shit but rose up again to a different kind of high. There was alot of European talent moved in. Oakenfold is now a House Hold New York Club and Radio Station name, but many Local NY Dj's earned alot more respect from the people.

Hopefully 2003 will be a better year. All I know is that i like the way the music is moving. More Tech, More House, More Tribal....everywhere you go now is house music. Stores, malls, restaurants, Out with the HIP HOP!
