Also, since "its basically trance with higher bpms and more 'hard' stabs IE hoovers- its basically become Hard trance," is it the "higher bpms and more 'hard' stabs IE hoovers" that make it HOUSE? well around 95 it was housey, with a lot of funky house percussion and a focus on hard stabs riffs but many of the sounds became tired, and there has been a shift to more synthy sounds over the past few yearsearly hard house -tony de vit - are u all ready, porn kings - up to no goodthesse tracks have elements of other types of music, but fall under the hard house label (its hard to describe but most hard house as a "galloping" bassline - or at least it used to a year or two ago) its around to define because the sound is constantly evloving - lately its hard house basslines with uplifting trancey riffs (bk - acension) or with real evil synths (andy farley - your fear) then! there is also nu-nrg which uses hard house percussion but is not uplifting, more techy, and driving, but still uses the breakdown.ITs very hard to explain but listen to these tracks to get an idea of the "sound"cortina - music is moving or anything by BK or nick sentiencedoes that help?or u could download my mix - it goes from techy hard house to techno to nu nrg to hard trance to uk uplifting hard trance!and on a sidenote -not much "true" hardhouse is still being made, its all hybrid stuff now really Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
