Official Broadway Nyc Meet Up Thread...

Only respond if you are serious about meeting up in NYC and going to one of the Broadway shows.

If you are definately interested. We need to get alot of things figured out first. Being it is not an easy task to get tickets for some shows...

1) What show would you prefer to see?

A) Lion King

B) Aida

C) Rent

D) Another ( Please Mention )

2) What date would you like to attend?

A) Saturday February 8

B) Saturday February 15

C) Saturday February 22

D) Another Date ( Please Mention )

3) Will you be bringing another friend?

4) If for some reason we cannot get tickets for a large group are you willing to split into smaller groups?

5) What is the most you are willing to spend on tickets?

6) Do you want to do anything after the show?

7) Do you want to do anything before the show?

8) Any other questions???

9) If for some crazy reason the shows are sold out the day of. What else would everyone possibly be into doing?

Well being at one time or another I was offering tickets to someone who would acompany me. Maybe I will just have a little contest or quiz here on the board and buy tickets for the winning lady. :D

Yes hun... But answer the questions. We all need to figure out what we want to see. When we want to see it. And what other plans to make. So please answer all the questions above...

1) Any of those are cool... I'm not picky. I want tosee Mama Mia too.

3) Um... I don't have any friends jk

4) smaller groups are fine, as long as I get to sit next to you

6)eat (but we might have to settle for standing in line forever in time square to get tickets)

7) drink, dance, party - wherever the night brings us

(actually anything that doesn't require standing out in the cold)

Oh and for the record. I believe you confused questions 6 and 7 with each other and got them backwards...

tickets should be cheaper if we get the group rate. We should really try.

Sounds good. My company usually only puts out tickets for certain shows. And I have not seen anything for the shows we all want to see. :(

But I also have to make a few phone calls... :D

D) Another ( Please Mention ) It isn't on Bdway but would anyone consider DeLaGuarda? I had such a good time there!! La Boheme perhaps? Would always go back to see Phantom! ("Christine!") lol

Dont know what it is about. But if you like Elton Johns music. You will like the show. I wanted to see Lion King. But alot of people are changing my mind to want to see Aida...
