Yeah; tough choice, D... but better watch what we say - these sensitive people are riled easily.

don't believe i have a "true" favorite local, cause i'm not really into any of the local dj's. but probably the one that comes to mind is snowhite. she's stayed true to her music throughout the years and battled the sexist owners and promoters to achieve her success.

well deserved!

Don't mind at all aztec..

I was a 6 foot 13 year old when I started hitting the Limelight in 1980 (my older cousins would open up an emergency exit in the back for me to get in).

Back then the drinking age was 18 so I didn't look all that out of place like a tall kid would nowadays.

I saw acts like Celi Bee, Tavares, Lou Rawls and France Joli in that place... I was a disco dancin fool...

The rest is History..

Been clubbing 21 years from Tokyos Yellow to NYCs Vinyl.. been their, done that..I work to pay my mortgage, travel and dance, thats it..

I think I might end up like the old lady in the 54 movie that croaked on NYE..

Later....
