any personal trainers here?

Situation: My body is toned and I have definition. However I want to add some bulk (just a bit to add curve) to my arms and legs.

Problem: I am not sure what exercises and lifting techniques I should be doing. I actually have a personal trainer but she is shorter then me and I think that's why I am not seeing the results I desire. I have heard height does make a difference in training program specifications is this true?
