Florida's got a lot of good talent, as do a number of other US states, but the European scene is made up of a good number of countries, each with a bigger scene than any US state. The fact of the matter is a lot of American talent plays and spins more in Europe than they do back home. With an enormous amount of electronic/Dance talent from overseas there's absolutely nothing wrong with people coming out to support good DJs and good music. People know there's going to be a good vibe, and just b/c Lawler may not be your cup of tea doesn't mean that others should be frowned upon for liking him. It's not just about supporting your local DJ, it's also about supporting good music. Overseas music that just so happens to be respected by a lot of the American DJs.
