James Zabiela Saeed & Palash / Spin / July 19, 2002Opening Ivano BelliniI'd like to group the info on this thread by DJ ... in chronological order ... tough part comes with the events in the 90s ... I hope you guys take this seriously ... it is part of a future project and this is the bibliography ... anecdotes will be greatly appreciated ...If you guys have old flyers ... posters ... ticket stubs ... they can all be part of this project ... Slacker's live PA @ Groove Jet for conference. Nick Warren's Sao Paulo tour. Sasha's surprise visit @ Groove Jet in 99 when he played for a crowd of 50 people. It is an uphill project ... the intention is to present the electronic music scene thru the eyes of "contemporary art" ... in this case the artworks and creativity of the ones preparing the flyers and posters ...It is a "sub-culture" in its own artform ... will look to accomodate the photographs in that context ...And it is certainly a part of the history of clubbing ... The project is called: "THE ART OF CLUBBING" ...Clubbing brought many of us down here to stay ... clubbing in South Beach attracted tens of thousands of tourists ... we want to pay a tribute to it ...This is also why annecdotes are also welcome ...
