eccentricmofo Posted July 11 Report Share Posted July 11 I know exactly what you mean, Get this, a friend of mine used to work there and I stopped in one day a while back in the midst of my job search and liked it so much I made her hook me up...granted it got a bit weird but Ill just say It lasted for a month...lol I even got to play with the dj setup during lunch...joy ... I think Im going to definately go and get sushi now... It was soo much easier (and more affordable) when my favorite food as a child was pizza... NOooo ... Not only do I have to fall for a food that is rare of a find, both decent in quality and location, but Id never imagine paying near 7 dollars for a tiny piece that looks like artistic fish bait....lol:laugh: Since Im retiring from this message board scene I say we actually press to materialize this sushi meetup. many times people have ideas and they fade away or stall out... Nada this one....here here for the rawfish meet... be there or ....be uncool....p.s. there is a vast selection of cooked japanese dishes at the sushi lounge as well... It is sweet of a setup, its in hoboken on the corner of hudson and 2nd street, few blocks from the path, so that opens up the opportunity to the nyc crew and leads to a potential afterwards function of some freaky sort...lol. As far as the day, I'd say potentially midweek would be ideal. That way weekend plans are not interupted and also probably would be easier to do sooner. So, Id vote for a wednesday or thursday.. If we get there early enough, mon-fri they have Happy Hour -30% off on sushi and 1/2 off Martini's 4pm-6:30pmnot cr*p vodka either, Martini's are all Ketel 1can you tell I like Martini's? tizbone Posted July 15 Report Share Posted July 15 There's a great place right in Montclair near the Bellevue movie theatre on the main street there in the shopping district...across from THE wine store...great selection of rolls and nicely priced...BYOB.If you go, the "Upper Montclair roll" is a MUST!
