kitty19
yes, it's usually called "magic straight perm." if you walked into a korean salon and said you wanted the "thermal reconditioning treatment from Asia" i think you'd get some pretty strange looks. where do you live diablo? maybe i can help you out in terms of finding a good salon. micheloca
I have heard alot about " the magic straight perm"& I really want to have it done but I also color my hair.Anyone know if it can be done on colored hair and if so how long u need to wait to have it done after it's been colored? Also what are the names of the salons-the one in Queens and in the city. Thanks:)
Orisha
yes, I too, might be coloring my hair in the fall. Is it safe on color-treated hair, and where do I go to get it done (in NYC)?btw, that site I looked at, it is the thermal reconditioning, which I asked my stylist about, and she said it's very damaging, and that the hair lays funny (it seems to only look like that with chicks who have thick hair). I asked her about the magic perm, and she knew nothing of it..I do have slighty damaged ends (from those damn straighteners) but kind of thin hair/medium wave so it may take well to the treatmentAside from my stylist's advice, I think my hair could benifit from it...
