There was something going on in the Liquid Lounge that plastered a permanent smile on my face for about 2 hours straight.Todd n Hoska, I have never had so much fun on a Monday. I wish today was Monday again, heeeck, every day should be Monday!Walking in and spotting Hoska started the smile. I bum rushed him and I believe I frightened him a little with the whole "It's HOSKA!" :bear hug: thing, but he seemed better after the slimer shots and that little trip outside with Chaser to "listen to music". Then I got to watch the diva werk it, it's been awhile, I forgot how much fun Todd is to watch. Everything he played kept the euphoria locked in place. You n Karla are soldiers, bro, ya gotta thank her for introducing me to the Monkey in the Tree drink... or was it Tree Monkey? Did it even have to do with Monkeys? Well, it should have.Hoska hopped on the decks and had us screamin his name, baby, and we weren't the only ones, that room ate him right up. 1am came and no one was budging, the door dude had to snap his fingers in front of our faces and tell us to leave, we somehow didn't notice the bright fluorescent lights blazing at us. I definitely could have stayed there until.. well, now. Mariah, Jenny and I have decided that we are not only Groovefire Groupies and Tweakettes, we are now also Hoska's Official Mascots. We WILL be sponsoring all above parties squished onto whatever small pieces of clothing we can find for Zion. If it won't fit on the clothes, it's goin on the skin. groovefire Posted August 19 Report Share Posted August 19 It was a lot of fun, and a really, really good crowd for a summer Monday night. An interesting crowd too. Preppys, euros, metalheads and Howie, all co-existing. It fun to play through some genres I don't normally get to...I opened with some weirdo-trancey-euphoric house and uplifting tribal shit.
