hmnyc Posted October 30 Report Share Posted October 30 one of my friends called me and said one of the afterparty's on saturday morning after DT got busted. they arrested everybody in there even if you were just hanging out. i really don't do afterparty's that much but i did go to another place which was mad shady down on Essex. are the copls targeting places that don't have the cabaret licenses? are they gonna target all the clubs harder now? kinda makes you not want to go out, don't want to spend a weekend in jail you know. bumpdaddy Posted October 30 Report Share Posted October 30 They are DEFINATELY cracking down.....they are definately targeting the smaller after hours venues.....especially down in that area.... Cops are getting tipped off about various "issues" at some of these places.... drinks served after 4..... "other stuff" and if the you're unfortunate enough to be in a place that doesn't have a NYCDOB place of assembly permit, you can get locked up for illegal assembly even if you're completely clean....
