Great party on Friday, Macaluso & Bailey were phenomenal. Everyone needs to get over there misconceptions of Long Island clubs, yes most of them do suck... but this one doesnt! Rob James is there every Friday tearing shit up, and you have Low End specialists comng down this friday also.... This is one of the last real, credible house parties that is being thrown. If this fails, I doubt that any good underground party will come to Long Island again, but no party can work w/o promotion... so give it a try at least once. Whats the big deal? If you dont have a comp card I think its only $5 or $10, not bad compared to the city.... and your seeing amazing DJ's... It is up to us as music lovers to show support for parties like this.... their staff can try all they want, promote it, bring in hot dj's and everything, but unless we all get over our misconceptions of LI clubs there will never be a real house party on long island. This is one of them.. all im saying is give it a try. You WILL NOT be disappointed!

iv heard from a few ppl that it is really good. i'm sooo ther on fri. i still can't believe les are gonna be ther fri. i saw them open for digweed over the summer. how did this happen?? one day nation opens up, and its this underground house party?!?!? i'm in fulll support, we DEF don't have shit like this out here, and these weekday partys once in a while dosn't cut it for me. this is great!! i'm excited!!   i hope in the future if this takes off, they can get some other acts and other genre of edm out here, lot to ask for now, but who knows in a year or 2 or 3, if this club can stay like this, and be cheese free:D

Ill tell you how this happened.

The clubs manager had the vison of throwing a NYC style party, that brings a little Factory, Centro Fly, Arc, etc etc and brings that to Long Island.

Myself and DJ Hurricane (Ozzie) had been throwing underground loft parties around long island at pirate venues for the last 2 years and it had always been our goal to bring our "Vision" of a perfect party to a Long Island club.

Rob James is the original "Underground" DJ from Long Island. He was the resident at the infamous "Freedom" afterhours in the Hamptons. While other DJ's in the area were playing stuff cheeze house, Rob was playing Deep, Tribal, Progressive before it was "Cool"! He has also put out a few records under his name as well as under the production name of SOLIS. His most popular remix of The Trancesetters- "Roaches" was featured on Hooj Choons, and his mix was on the record along with mixes by John Creamer & Stephane K, and Peace Division

Jesse the club's manager had called us as well as some other Long Island nightlife vets to disguss a possible new party. 3 weeks later Nation was born!

After carefull disgussion Myself, Rob James, Jesse, and Bob G went over and have hand picked the DJ's for this party.

If anyone has any DJ sugesstions and of questions forward them to our website, www.nationli.com!

Teknojunkee,

Did you head over to Nation this past Friday? If you're heading there this friday for Rob and LES, we should meet up and get some shots going.

I had to leave early this past friday because of work on Saturday. I was so pissed because Mike and Peter were really starting to rip shit. I cleared my schedule next Saturday, so this upcoming friday will be a great night.

Fuck Manhattan for the time being. Finally, some real fuckin house music on the Island once again.

Mike and Peter were sick!!!!

The thriller remix that Peter Bailey played was insane

not to mention his re-edit's of Jule McKnight- Diamond Life

Everyone has to show some love to Matt and his crew! This party is SICK and people bitch that the music sux at LI clubs but this is a diamond in the rough.

Tell all your friends we need to make this party last. Mirage and Sahara are nice but this is the real deal, the sound system is crazy, the lights are nuts.

Matt I heared you spun the night of the blizzard for a while to bad I missed it.

Come out Friday and support HOUSE MUZIK!

Low End Specialists and Rob James!

Low End specialists are gonna be crazy on Friday, everyone should definitely come down and check this place out. If you dont like it you dont hve to come back.. Im not a promoter just trying to help the underground scene stay alive. And YES I guess it is possible for it to happen in Long Island!
