thatgrrl Posted February 5 Report Share Posted February 5 I've lived in SD for about a year. I'm about to move again to FLA. On Broadway is a pretty nice club downtown. It depends on what type of music you like. They bring good talent once in a while. I'm from Chicago, so I was getting pretty used to techno. There isn't much of a techno scene in SD...mostly house music. LA isn't such a bad drive though & this year we've seen Hawtin, Cox, Picotto & Adam Beyer there. I was chatting with this guy that's from back east (like me) he's been out here for about a year as well and said that there's really no nightlife in SD like how NYC is -- he said that LA would be my best bet -- so maybe I'll have to plan a little trip up there for a weekend or something ... good luck in FLA!!
