anotherway83 Posted January 31 Report Share Posted January 31 wow, lalate's the man. just got back from this great bacardi party he hooked me up with. got there around 10 when the line outside was pretty long and wasn't really moving. met up with lalate who was ahead of the line, with the guys doing the checking...after waiting 5 mins in line he calls me up asking how's the line going...i say its not moving...lalate goes "ok, step out of the line" and takes me straight thru no questions asked!! damn i felt like a VIP lol. great party overall altho i really wish now that i had more dancing skills, standing around with the other guys like myself who didn't know how to dance (lalate's got mad moves btw) was really frustrating. i tried a couple times to ease into the dance floor, move a lil bit but it really wasn't working. so now im thinking of taking a dancing class doesnt matter which just so i can loosen up a bit. also having someone to dance with makes it soooo much easier...but god the women had some really bad attitude. the guys on the other hand were surprisingly friendly, it felt like a brotherhood lol. Yes. Then, we realized, wait we also now have Nacional on Thursdays, a special party on Friday all ages for $5, and then it hits us. Be sure to read the Hot@9 Chart!LALate now has really come a long way. We don't want to just toot our horn. But folks, look at this lineup in the Hot@9 Chart. If you remember back to 2003 when maybe we had one or two awesome parties out of our 4 dozen events per week that were special you had to go to, well, look at the lineup now! Not only do we have 4 dozen events per week, but about a dozen of the finest, not good but totally exceptional, parties you can imagine all happening night after night - a total cross section of the LA scene, from warehouse, to all ages, to celebrity studded, to vip venues, to comedy, to funky house.
