After more than a year of silence we would first like to acknowledge how deeply touched we are by your kind words of support and gentle reminders that ever since, it just left a void that could not seem to be filled. There were some who concluded that after six continuous years, this was it, and in a city rich with its tradition of past legendary nights, it had become another one for the history books, the kind that many later wish they could have been a part of, even once… While relentlessly searching for a suitable new home, we got a much-needed boost from some wildly successful parties overseas, in Tokyo, Japan as well in Napoli, Italy. But back in New York, our quest uncovered nothing as uniquely warm and raw as what we had been so fortunate to have for so long. The search continues. But for right now, it is with immense pleasure and a great, joyful sense of relief that we would like to share with you the news of an upcoming special one-time event party on Sunday, March 21st, 2004, which will be held at Arc, formerly known as Club Vinyl, located at 6 Hubert Street in Tribeca. All of us will be there to share this long-awaited moment with you, your three DJ’s, Joaquin ‘Joe’ Claussell, Danny Krivit and François K. as well as John Davis, Ariel doing his magic on the lights, Andi on the warm-up and at the door, and the whole rest of the team you've all come to know as your ‘Body&SOUL family’. The significance of the date doesn’t escape us, and that this event falls on an Equinox can certainly be taken as a very auspicious sign! We will be using our web site’s community board and other means to share with you fresh news and updates on this situation as things quickly take shape. We’d like to make sure you know that we will endeavor to accommodate each and every one of you, and in order to insure that those who really want to have guaranteed admission to the event can do so, we are planning to offer a significant portion of the day’s admissions for sale as advance tickets, to be available both online in our web site’s Cybershop, and as well at a retail location in Manhattan to be announced shortly (advance orders will be restricted to no more than 4 tickets per buyer, and subject to a small processing fee). All of those details will be made public at some point closer to the date. In the meantime, we would like to reassure you that the price of admission will be roughly the same as always, $15.00 per person in advance and $17.00 at the door, and that the hours will probably be slightly extended, starting from 4 PM until somewhere around 1 AM, to accommodate what we anticipate will be a fully sold-out event. We encourage you to share the news with all those whom you think will be interested in coming, as there may be gaping holes in our mailing list, with people changing addresses or phone numbers. As stated above, please check the web site’s community board for late-breaking announcements on when and how the advance tickets will be offered to the public, as well as other important information regarding this special one-time event, so that you can be guaranteed to be a part of something we know you won’t want to miss. Most of all, we would simply like for you to know that -after what now seemed like an eternity- we just couldn’t wait for the day when we could once again say: “See You On The Dance Floor!†You better get ready to party!!!
