mitchmartin Posted May 27 Report Share Posted May 27 That's depressingdont worry- this kid is just making shit up to sound cool and probably hasnt been there on a friday.just talking shit to sound like only he knows where all the cool people hangout.spirit the last 3 weeks have had the following djs - max graham, hernan cattaneo, randall jone, satoshi tomiie and hector romero. try and tell me those are commercial djs.the club on friday is run very casually and is undisputedly about the music. the party is new and growing- and yes there are some "hot " chicks there- but i didnt know that was a problem.anyway - you cant take peole's word for it just go if want to hear a dj and have a good time- people tend to forget at every "good"club that ever existed in nyc you always gays, guidoes, hot chicks, busted chicks, ravers, kids, old heads, crack heads ect.- clubbing divas like the guy above sit home on friday nights and bitch on message boards while the rest of us go out and have fun and enjoy a good party. The best party I have been to yet there is the opening of the Foundation Party W/ Anthony Pappa. Party was great...I have been there 3 Times on a friday. All three times invited by promoter friends of mine, who wanted me to help them with the party both times I was majorly dissapointed!Unfortonatley the place really has the wrong crowd in it. Ive been there for Max Graham, Murk, And The Low End Specialists. All 3 times I have enjoyed the music, but the crowd was horrible. Maybe a handfull of people were there for the music, the place has no vibe in it and no love in it!The club itself I think is great, I think they need to have FunKtion One come in and finish the sound properly!All Im saying is the bottle service crowd dosen't do the place any justice..Im sure other people on this board agree with meAnd by all means I never thought It would be any thing like twilio, nor did I ever try to compare it, the first person to post was asking if it was like Twilo Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
