We are new to Vegas, LOVE to dance away the stress of a long workweek, and my girlfriends and I are looking for a place with great dance mixes, (similar to Ra, that's our best time so far), but also has a good mix of ages.

We went to Ice, (good music, but no one remotely our age), Light..(very dressy, more about shopping around than the fun and dancing), and Ra, (fun, some mix of ages, LLLOOOONNNNGGGG line, but really great dance mixes!). We were at Studio 54 on a Wednesday, and it was a good mix of ages, but the music didn't frequently propel us onto the floor, we ended up at the table most of the night people watching.

Our idea of a good time is doing some shots, meeting fun people/(men) that also love to dance, and laughing/dancing our asses off all night long. Any recommendations?:beer:

My recommendations..

Tangerine @ TI

Tabu at MGM

VooDoo at Rio

Curve @ Aladdin

Remember 30 somethings are not old by any means. At various clubs here in town I've seen 50 somethings walk by with out getting asecond glance.

LOL

We don't feel old at ALL!!! We have great fun! However, I do prefer dancing opposite a MAN, (as much as I love my girlfriends). So, the more mixed the crowd is, the more fun there is to be had. Also, I live in reality world...where, as cute as a 35 year old cutie-pie is........she just doesn't catch the eye like a 21 year old with almost no clothes. Don't get me wrong....I'm ok with that. I have NO regrets, have lived very fully, and wouldn't go back for the world, but hey, I'm not up for dancing with GIRLS for the rest of my life either!!!!

Thanks for the feedback :-)

Hey there!!

Early thirties here too.

We used to go out all the time when I worked in the casinos. But when I changed careers to healthcare my circle of friends changed, my work hours changed etc. That and now I am one of the youngest people where I work by in most cases 15 years or more. When me and my casino friends went out it was four or five times a week SRO (when it was really the shit almost 5 yrs ago), Club Utopia, C2K, HOB and the brand new baby's (sometimes).

Lately we've been going out and this is what I've found.

Rain the line was long, and there were so many guys that when we went out on the dance floor it was like watching your significant other practically raped in front of you. Kind of like club RIO ten years ago.

Tangerine we went twice. Long line and then so many people inside it was like vertically body surfing. Too crowded to even get a drink or enjoy the music.

Ice has been our favorite so far. Sometimes cool on thursdays. But best on saturday by far. Fridays fizzle.

Seven's afterhours has been a good standby hit or miss. Most of the time a hit.

Rumjungle expensive bad drinks and they were stuck in this latin techno.... I like them to mix it up.

Studio 54 was cool. Go early 10ish when they open the club. The line may seem long but it goes quick since there's no one in the club. I didn't like 2 hours of 70's though. After that it was cool. Makes it a good fall back.

I remember the days of C2K & Utopia. Man those were the days huh?? Man I feel old now lol. You should try Body English. It does get crowded but not until about 1am. If you get there before then it's bearable. But that is definitely the hot spot.

Thanks, I didn't know how the whole Baby's ending thing would turn out.

Alot of the staff from Ice apparently hangs out at body english and seven's afterhours. The last time we went to Ice the staff suggested Body English and just haven't had a chance to check it out. We usually just go out Fri and Sat.

Which day is better there???

Does it still have that subterranean stair like entrance???

Man that was a mother trying to walk when you were a little torqued and it was crowded....
