nekokaburi Posted October 17 Report Share Posted October 17 nope... anime character... last year it was a guy called Zorro, uses 3 katanas, from an anime called One Piece (yes, i'm an anime geek, but i'm a cool anime geek )what i want to do is get the sheet metal to make a breastplate and a really big-ass sword to go out as Gatts from the anime Berserk (favorite anime of all time, definitely worth watching even if you arent an anime fan)the anime club has a party every halloween and they encourage anime costumes surprising really, the range of people that go to the anime club... ex-infantry, military researcher with a pysch degree, students from all fields, we even got ourself a Grizzly Adams (a mountain man from an old tv show) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

nekokaburi Posted October 17 Report Share Posted October 17 lol i know i'm a cool geek cuz all the other anime geeks said so most anime geeks dream of getting a Jap gf, I actually went out and was able to get one yeah, i'd like to go as Vash or D, but those costumes are hard to pull off...something like Gatts though, if i could just get a big enough piece of sheet metal for the sword, even, i could get the rest of the outfit no problem... and if i can get 2 pieces of sheet metal i can make a breastplate too (helmets are a bitch though)i got the right face for it, almost... and i'm big enough for it too one i'd really love to be able to pull off... ever see the escaflowne movie? I think anything from the 1800s and earlier is far game for originality. Two girls walked into this store and asked to be girls from the Reinassance ..
