crowina Posted October 28 Report Share Posted October 28 always be nice to the people that handle your food.i worked in a bakery...now the boxes are supposed to be subtacted when you are weighing the item, so you are not paying for the box. boxes can weigh .25 lbs. so if your cookies weigh 10.00 per lb. your box would be 2.50 if it was not subtracted. on all holidays anyone one of us that work in bakerys, delis, what have you...if you are mean to us, we will not subtract the box. we will put extra things on the scale to make the price higher, we may not even weigh it and figure our own price. and if you are extra mean to us we may accidently drop the box. you should see the people i work with they are vicious! they will curse you out in italian but say it in a way that you think they are being nice!
