Paris Hilton Nightclub in Orlando...

actually...it'll probably do very well for a long time...which gives you a little insight into what the Whorelando crowd is like these days...

places that feature stupid bitches that dance on the bar to shitty music whilst they should be catering to thirsty people waiting to order drinks do better than legitimate dance clubs featuring good music anymore...go figure... Otown, post-'99 just plain sucks over all, imo...

I like Sky60 but since it's outdoors, they need a much better (a lot more bass) sound system than what they've got. But on a thursday night, the music is the best anywhere in Orlando. The crowd is nice and it's a very sociable atmosphere especially since it's on a rooftop. And the bartenders are the hottest in town. There's plenty of space to dance but unfortunately, not many people do. :D

just came across this in another forum...apparently, it was loosely quoted from some radio show:

In her first "singing" appearance, last weekend, Paris Hilton was jeered and booed by a European crowd on Saturday while she was promoting her new album 'Paris Is Burning'.

She opened the show by lip-syncing one of her own songs, then she moved on to David Bowie's Fame, and then Blondie's Call Me.

Ms.Hilton left the stage prematurely after only three songs. Evidently the crowd was not supportive of her burgeoning career in the music arts.

I just moved here from NYC/NJ & People up there would bitch if they had to pay $20 to get in a club with about 50,000 sq ft. Thats totally outragous. I live near Orlando & these fuckin people are poor as hell & cheap ass bastards. Most clubs downtown are free or like $10. She's fuckin nuts. The average salary in Orlando is like $500 a week. She needs to relax with the greedy shit. THis IS NOT MIAMI OR NYC. These people are NOT rich PARIS!!!

500 are you crazy the average salary in downtown is like 250 a week if you are lucky. Orlando is super wack I live in Orlando 5 years and I moved to Chicago I woudnt go back there even if they pull me from my balls. That place is a joke. This place wont be good if its starts with edm it will be ok for a month then it will turn into Hip hop then it will close down because is to expensive. Oh and I definetly see a reaggeton night going on.

I think Paris's club will make it in Vegas. But, close within a year in Orlando. By, the way she is dumb as shit. One of her friends said that her lines were scripted for her on the realty show. Apparently, she has trouble forming complete sentances. Afer seeing her DVD though, she has a future in porn. :swallow:

And, yes sadly this is the last season of the sopranos. First episode isnt airing until March of 2006.

do you guys really think she is the owner of this club? you have to be kidding me. an arab guy did a deal with her to do 6 clubs around the country and two out of the country. plus he bought the old theater next to state/320 and plans on turning that into a club. she is not allowed to have any other club promote her name for the next 10 years and she has to show up to each club so many times a year. she is getting a rediculous amount of money to put her name on the club. we all know how this will go he will open 6, 2 will make money the rest will close. i am sure those 2 will make an ungodly amount of money. think about michael jordons steak houses. i disagree by the way with orlando. orlando is still middle america and has influx of people from middle america who read about paris every FUCKING day and want to be where they MIGHT have a chance of meeting her.

I think this might be a decent club that will live up to its hype. The hot chicks in the Orlando area are bound to make it one of their regular hangouts, which means guys will gladly follow suit.

According to the following article, the club will have DJ Booths, and a lounge area. The lounge area might serve as a good place to do a weekly Soulful House event, while hopefully the main room will include a decent night of uptempo House, Progressive, and Trance:

From My close friend in the entertainment business in Orlando:

The Paris nightclub's musical format will be strictly Hip Hop and R & B with the odd 80's track and rock tune thrown in. Supposedly Nicole's ex-boyfriend or current boyfriend, DJ AM from L.A. will be the weekend resident.

no dance music.

This format will do really well in a city that grew up on FL breaks and that still has that rave mentality of 1995. :D
