phrankadelic Posted January 10 Report Share Posted January 10 i would trade the pick. get a lower pick in the round and get a couple of more picks to go with it. they don't have a second rounder and this draft has no "sure thing" for the top 5. one pick isn't going to help the fins...they need many. digital7 Posted January 10 Report Share Posted January 10 This year's draft is a bit weak with no real standout players that would be worthy of the second overall pick.. Id say trade down, as down as you can get out of the top ten and if possible out of the top 15.. the lower you go, the more picks you get in the later rounds. If you know how to work it, many possibilities are on the horizon, including a first round pick this year and a first round pick next year so whoever is in that war room, and hopefully wont be Spielman, you could have a extremely productive draft by trading down for more picks, possibly this year and or next years.. Ive pretty much set a time table knowing how Nick Saban does his thing.. we'll be in Super Bowl contention in 3 years Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
